Patents Assigned to Sinpo Optical Co., Ltd.
  • Patent number: 5946518
Abstract: A locking mechanism for the film-box cover of a camera is provided. Basically, the driven gear of the film receptacle of the camera interacts with a connecting catch which is rotatably mounted on a position binder: after the film is loaded into the receptacle and rolled out, the connecting catch will rotate an appropriate distance to prevent the opening/closing motion of the camera's film-box cover. This ensures that the box cover will not be accidentally opened, thus effectively preventing the exposure of the film which has already been used. Furthermore, when rewinding the film manually or by an automatic method after the roll of film has been used up for photography, the connecting catch will return to its original position to allow the film-box cover to regain its function for removal or reloading of the film.

  • Patent number: 5933672
Abstract: Advancing system of film compartment for cameras includes a film compartment lever on compartment cover between film shaft and gear, then on one side of the gear is equipped with a transmission gear, and a friction spring is equipped below that gear to contain an engaging block. Thus, as the engaging block follows the gear and the transmission gear to rotate, the engaging block can stop at two corresponding stops and immobilize the lever despite whether the film is in a loaded photo-ready or retracted position, to ensure and avoid the film compartment cover from opening. Furthermore, a transmission cover plate is equipped atop the gear, while the top side of the cover plate is equipped with positioning brass piece that engage with the circuit control board located at the very top side to facilitate the contact of the positioning brass piece and the brass soldering on the circuit control board.

  • Patent number: 5754902
Abstract: The present invention relates to a viewfinder of a camera for taking vertical/horizontal special effect type photos, which may use APS film for taking the known type photos as well as vertical/horizontal special effect type photos. A photo setting piece with vertical/horizontal photo sections is moved in or out of the viewfinder. The photo setting piece has a toothed rack engaging a linking gear connected to a drive gear and a control rod with a drive toothed rack. With this structure, the vertical/horizontal photo sections may enter the viewfinder subject to the need for taking wider or longer photos.

  • Patent number: 5634161
Abstract: A sprocket mechanism for cameras includes a sprocket consisted of a body and a raised annular portion, a positioning plate fitted onto the sprocket, and an electrical switch located near the positioning plate. The sprocket body has two opposite pairs of pawls spaced suitably apart, and the raised annular portion has two notches provided at predetermined positions. When the sprocket rotates through 180 degrees, the electrical switch is caused to be on or off. A motor is caused to stop after an electrical signal is detected. At the same time, it can be determined that a frame of the film has been advanced and precisely positioned, and a counter is provided to display the number of frames advanced.

  • Patent number: 5585877
Abstract: A sprocket mechanism for cameras adapted for advancing a film provided with two juxtaposed sprocket holes at regular space intervals includes a sprocket with a body having a couple of pawls spaced apart at a pre-determined distance at a circumferential rim thereof and a first gear disposed on a top side of the body and having a notch at a suitable position thereof, a transmission gear having a second gear formed on its top side, the second gear having a shaft extending from a bottom side thereof and being inserted into a central hole of the first gear, the shaft capable of free movement within the central hole and having a stop element fitted thereon, the stop element being provided with a vertical segment at an extreme end thereof to be retained in the notch of the first gear. When the pawls of the sprocket engage the sprocket holes of the film, the sprocket, the transmission gear and the stop element rotate synchronously.

  • Patent number: 5555058
Abstract: A viewfinder illumination scale adjusting mechanism including a sliding block disposed at one side of the viewfinder of a camera, a first cover board and a second cover board vertically spaced by the viewfinder and defining a respective illumination window of a different size, and a switching lever moved to switch on/off the electric circuit of the camera, wherein when the sliding block is shifted upwards, the switching lever is moved to switch on the electric circuit of the camera, and the first cover board is moved to coincide its illumination window with the viewfinder; when the sliding block is shifted downwards, the switching lever is moved to switch off the electric circuit of the camera, and the second cover board is moved to coincide its illumination window with the view finder; when the sliding block is shifted to the middle position, the two cover boards are turned away from the viewfinder, and the switching lever is forced to switch off the electric circuit.
