Patents Assigned to Sipa-Roller
  • Patent number: 6105746
Abstract: Roller rail comprising a lower profile whose section is one of, U-shaped or omega-shaped, a plurality of rollers, and an upper profile made of a steel band, cut and embossed, used as a roller carrier. The band comprises edges which are folded and crimped on upper rims of the lower profile, which edges are linked together by crossbeams between which the rollers are positioned. The process of manufacture of a roller rail comprises preparing by, one of, folding or profiling operations, a sheet metal band, a lower profile with one of, U-shaped or omega-shaped section, and an upper profile carrying a plurality of rollers and assembling the profiles together by folding and crimping the edges of the sheet metal band constituting the upper profile onto upper rims of the lower profile.

  • Patent number: 6082517
Abstract: Speed limiter for boxes or pallets for use in an a conveyor system having a tilted plane that includes at least one roller. The limiter includes a rotatable drum adapted to be pressed against a load, the load driving the rotatable drum, a speed-sensitive braking mechanism adapted to hinder the rotational movement of the rotatable drum, a shaft mounted coaxial to the drum, the drum and the braking mechanism being mounted about the shaft, and at least one bracket adapted to fixedly mount the shaft to a structure of the conveyor system. The bracket is adapted to elastically press the drum to the load, and has a predetermined degree of rotational movement such that the bracket may pivot about an axis transverse to the movement of the load.

  • Patent number: 5890577
Abstract: Pallet separator including a pedal located at a downstream end of a storage chute. The pedal is connected via a tie to a stop such that movement of the pedal by a load causes movement of the stop which retains and separates loads arranged upstream of the load acting upon the pedal. The pallet separator also includes a delay device in the form of a controlled leak jack whose rod stroke extends from a delay start position and a delay end position. The jack is capable of maintaining the stop in an active position for sufficient time to allow removal and handling of the downstream load before arrival of the next load at the end of the chute.
