Abstract: Synthetically generated signals are reproduced via a binaural hearing system, which includes two hearing devices. After reproducing a first signal via the first hearing device a reproduction of a second signal via the second hearing device is also carried out delayed by a defined time interval. The additional time delay is to be quantified such that the impression of a sound amplification is produced with a hearing system wearer.
Abstract: A frame is provided for the hearing device, which frame is constructed in such a way that it holds all of the internal components. The shells or the battery compartment are secured to the frame. Thereby, a conversion of a hearing device by the ordinary acoustician is possible.
Abstract: In a hearing aid system, which comprises at least one hearing aid device, incorrect adaptation of the signal processing unit of the hearing aid device to the receiver used is intended to be avoided. To this end, automatic identification of the type of receiver used is proposed, as well as automatic adaptation of the signal processing in the hearing aid device by the hearing aid system. Incorrect manual adaptation is thereby prevented.
