Abstract: A video tape cassette includes half up and half down assembled plates. The plates are secured with a boss having a supporting bar connected to the half down plate. An insertion tube, connected to the half up plate is disposed about the supporting bar and a tubular tape guide is disposed over the boss to force press the insertion tube against the boss so as to secure the tape cassette. In other embodiments, a wedge is disposed within the boss to expand the insertion tube so as to securely assemble the tape cassette.
Abstract: A cover-locking device for a video tape cassette which includes a cover-locking pin having a lock-releasing protrusion and an engaging protrusion. The cover-locking pin is pivotably supported in a lower-half of the cassette. The cover-locking device also includes a spring member which is integrally formed on and protrudes upwardly and outwardly from the upper surface of the cover-locking pin between two supporting shafts so as to be urged upon the side inner surface of the chamber formed in the tape cassette when supported in the lower-half of the cassette.
Abstract: A lock for a video tape cassette is disclosed having a base plate on which a release button, a locking protrusion and a spring pole are provided. The spring pole is integral with and extends from the base plate. The spring pole has a free end provided with an abutment.
Abstract: A cover-locking device for a video tape cassette comprising a cover-locking pin having a lock-releasing protrusion and an engaging protrusion and being pivotably supported in a half-down of the cassette. The cover-locking device also comprises a push member integrally formed on the inner surface of a half-up of the cassette, and an operating member formed on the upper portion of the cover-locking pin. The operating member is always in contact with the push member.
