Abstract: The shoe includes a sole and an upper including at least one layer of elastic material positioned to stretch and create tension that enhances securement of a foot inserted into the shoe. The shoe includes a heel cup with polymer material, the heel cup affixed to the sole and upper, and the heel cup includes an upper portion, a midportion, and a lower portion. The shoe includes an interior foam layer adjacent to at least an interior wall of the upper portion of the heel cup, the interior foam layer being compressible, and the interior foam layer extends into the shoe opening, providing securement of the foot once inserted.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a footwear strap and a footwear having the same. An article of footwear may have a strap element and a heel structural element inside the strap element. The heel structural element may have two connecting arms, each of the two connecting arms having a medial arm and a lateral arm connected with the medial arm. The lateral arm and the medial arm may be integrally molded, and the lateral arm may be connected with the upper rear portion. The footwear strap may be assembled to the footwear and a compressible layer is located on an inner side of the heel structural element, and the compressible layer entirely covers the upper rear portion, at least partially covers the medial arm and the lateral arm, and gradually tapers or terminates along the inner side of the medial arm and the inner side of the lateral arm.
