    Abstract: A lubricant pump having a housing equipped with outlets and a lubricant chamber, and having a piston axially displaceable in an axial cylinder bore in the housing by means of an electrical drive arrangement. The piston is at a first end and has an axial outlet. A first portion of the axial outlet is connected to a through-opening arranged radially on the piston position and adapted in a predetermined piston position to connect the axial outlet to a predetermined outlet of the outlets. A second portion of the axial outlet of the piston is connected to the lubricant chamber by way of an inlet and a non-return valve to allow the bore to be filled with lubricant. The outlets are arranged essentially in succession to one another. The position sensor is adapted to signal the position of the piston in the event the piston stops.

    Abstract: A mounting device in the form of a substantially annular washer allows a bearing having relatively movable bearing rings to be blind mounted in a bearing seat in a housing or on a shaft. The washer is fitted to one of the bearing rings and abuts a side face of the other bearing ring to transfer an axial mounting force between the two bearing rings to mount one of the bearing rings in the bearing seat. The washer is tapering and assumes a first stable position to transfer axial force sufficient to push one of the bearing rings into its seat and an unstable region encountered after the one bearing ring has reached its mounted position. Under continued axial force, the washer flexes away from the side face of the other bearing ring to an inverted tapering, second stable position, with a passage between the bearing rings being opened.

    Abstract: A method for producing ring members, such as rings for rolling bearings, through use of a rolling operation involves warming a ring blank, positioning the warmed ring blank over a mandrel which is rotatable about a first axis, and positioning a forming roll rotatable about a second axis aligned with the first axis so as to form a rolling gap with the mandrel, with a portion of the ring blank being positioned in the rolling gap. The forming roll is driven to rotate in one rotary direction while the mandrel is driven to rotate in a rotary direction opposed to the rotary direction of the forming roll. During rotation of the forming roll and the mandrel, the mandrel is urged towards the forming roll to reduce the size of the rolling gap and thereby reduce the thickness of the ring blank while also increasing its diameter.
