  • Patent number: 11972474
Abstract: A method for purchasing goods, access authorizations or authorizations for using a service from a plurality of offered goods, access authorizations or authorizations for using a service. A defined spatial region is subdivided into defined subregions assigned, in each case, to a purchasable good, access authorization or authorization for using a service. A good, an access authorization or an authorization for using a service from a plurality of offered goods, access authorizations or authorizations for using a service is purchased, and a user registered in advance for carrying out the method on the basis of biometric features and/or on the basis of features, which may be assigned to the user uniquely, or an item registered in advance for carrying out the method is identified and localized in the defined subregion (1, 2, 3) assigned to the good, access authorization or authorization for using a service.

  • Publication number: 20230342756
Abstract: A method for preventing misuse of electronic access permissions, managed in mobile electronic devices using a wallet application and transmitted by a server. A link is purchased from the server, during which a password or authentication data and a mobile electronic device, are specified via the link. When activating the link, an ID of the first mobile electronic device, which is associated with an ID of the purchased access permission, is transmitted to the server. The electronic access permission is only transferable from the first mobile electronic device to another mobile electronic device after the password is first entered with the server. Upon transfer, in the server the access permission ID is associated with the ID of the other mobile electronic device and the access permission stored on the first mobile electronic device is marked as invalid.

  • Patent number: 11433854
Abstract: An access control method in an access control system that comprises at least one access control device with an antenna (2, 3, 4). Verification of an access authorization is based on analysis of a beacon transmitted by a first wireless communication standard. The beacon contains an ID to which a unique identifier (TID) of the data carrier and a unique beacon ID of the data carrier (1) transmitting the beacon is assigned. The unique identifier and unique beacon ID allows positive beacon identification. The identification and localization of the data carriers (1) is realized by analyzing the RSSIs of the transmitted beacons. The unique beacon IDs ensure that the RSSI values of the same respective beacon of a data carrier (1) are used in the course of the RSSI analysis. The closest data carrier (1) is determined, during the RSSI analysis, and the transmitted ID is analyzed to grant access.

  • Patent number: 11255125
Abstract: An access control device (1) for blocking or opening a passage (2) for persons or vehicles. The access control device comprises one or two blocking bodies (3, 3?), each arranged on a carrier (4, 4?). Each blocking body (3, 3?) comprises a mechanically reversibly deformable element (5, 5?) which, in a first position, is substantially planar and opens the passage (2) and, in a second position, assumes a curved shape which blocks the passage (2). One or both ends of the deformable element (5, 5?) are connected to an actuator (7). A controller controls the deformable element for transferring them first between the first and second positions. When transferring the deformable element from the first to the second position, either the distance between the ends of the respective blocking body is reduced or, when the ends have a constant distance, the length of the blocking body is increased.

  • Patent number: 10635495
Abstract: A method of registering devices (2), in particular access control devices or payment or vending machines, on a server (3) of a system where the device (2) which is to be registered generates a public and a private key with asymmetrical cryptology. The device (2) subsequently transmits a registration request, signed with the device's private key, containing at least one device ID, the device's public key and the login details of a technician. The server (3) verifies the registration request using the device's public key and, after verification, assigns the device (2) to a ‘data reception room’ where no operational communication with the server (3) occurs. Subsequently, the device (2) is cleared for communication by a technician logged in to the server (3). The device is assigned to an area of the server memory for operationally cleared devices, and a notification of registration is transmitted to the device (2).

  • Patent number: 10550622
Abstract: The boarding area (A, B, C) of a transport means is divided into at least two gates (1, 2, 3), the maximum person capacity of which corresponds, respectively, to the maximum capacity of the largest transport device (9) that is accessible via the boarding area (A, B, C). Entrance into the gates (1, 2, 3) is effected via at least one separating device (4) connected with a control system (5) for the purpose of data communication. Entrance into each gate (1, 2, 3) is not possible once the number of persons in the gate (1, 2, 3) specified by the control system (5) for the current boarding operation is reached, or while the persons inside the gate (1, 2, 3) board the transport car. The number of persons in each gate (1, 2, 3) for the current boarding operation is determined by the control system (5) in dependence upon the transport demand in subsequent intermediate stations ahead of an end station, provided such intermediate stations are present, and of the free capacity of the arriving transport car (9).

  • Patent number: 10445948
Abstract: A method for access control in an access control system for people or vehicles comprising at least one access control device. In the method the at least one access control device, using a selective modulation of the frequency, spatial modulation and/or optional temporal modulation of light emitted by a specified number of light sources, transmits information that can be received and demodulated by a mobile electronic device having a camera. The information sent by the access control device contains a unique ID of the access control device, which is used to control the access control device in accordance with data transmitted to the access control system by a mobile electronic device which receives the information transmitted.

  • Patent number: 10430773
Abstract: A method for determining the state of access control devices and sales or payment machines of an access control system by detecting sound profiles emitted during operation by a component or component group by at least one microphone. Based upon the recorded sound profile, an acoustic identification signature is created in a server or a central computer, which identification signature is based on the frequency spectrum of the recorded sound profile and/or the temporal change thereof. The acoustic identification signature is compared with a reference identification signature(s) stored in the server and assigned to a component or a component group. In the event of the detecting an acoustic identification signature which exceeds a predetermined first threshold value, increased wear of the component or the component group is detected, while if the deviation exceeds a second threshold value, a defect of the component or the component group is defected.

  • Patent number: 10382432
Abstract: A method of reading out access authorizations or ID's from at least one customer medium by at least one reader (3, 4, 5) of an access control device (2) and evaluating the selected ID's or access authorizations. All readers are activated and perform a scan for ID's or access authorizations, which can be contained or stored in at least one customer medium. The selected ID's or access authorizations are transmitted to a controller which temporarily stores and transmits them to an evaluation unit (1) while the readers continue to scan for possible ID's or access authorizations. If an evaluation in the evaluation unit finds that a selected access authorization is valid or allocated to a selected ID, the readers are deactivated, and access is granted. If, after a prescribed time, no further ID's or access authorizations are read out, transmitted and recognized as valid, then access is denied.

  • Patent number: 10349541
Abstract: A device for the tool-free mounting of modules on a top-hat rail and for the damage-free, tool-free unmounting of the same. The device has a double leg spring, with a first leg coil spring and a second leg coil spring, which are arranged coaxially about a common spring axis. First and second spring legs of the double leg spring are dimensioned identically and in each case form a hook bent in the direction of an opposite end of the double leg spring. The double leg spring also has a common intermediate leg at another end, which leg forms a hook bent in the direction of a first end.
