Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an optimized shortened peptide that binds to an acetylcholine receptor, and a use thereof. It is expected that it is possible to develop a cosmetic composition for alleviating wrinkles, pharmaceuticals for preventing or treating acetylcholine receptor-related diseases, and health functional foods for improvement of the acetylcholine receptor-related diseases, by using the optimized shortened peptide of the present disclosure, which is shorter than conventional acetylcholine receptor inhibitory peptides but has a high acetylcholine receptor binding force and an acetylcholine receptor inhibitory effect.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an acetylcholine receptor-binding peptide and, more particularly, to novel peptides which exhibit a wrinkle amelioration effect by binding the peptides to an acetylcholine receptor on which acetylcholine acts, thereby blocking secretion of acetylcholine. Peptides according to the present disclosure suppress secretion of acetylcholine by having a high binding strength with the acetylcholine receptor, thereby strongly binding the peptides to acetylcholine. Therefore, a cosmetic composition and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the peptides according to the present disclosure as an active ingredient exhibit an excellent wrinkle ameliorating effect.

Abstract: The present invention relates to acetylcholine receptor inhibitory peptides and uses thereof, wherein phages with high binding affinity for acetylcholine receptors were screened using a random peptide recombinant phage, and acetylcholine receptor-binding peptides were selected through DNA of the phages. By having confirmed, using the selected peptides, the binding affinity for acetylcholine receptors and the effect of inhibiting the action of acetylcholine receptors, and having confirmed, via the modifications of the peptides, peptide sites and sequences that are vital in binding to acetylcholine receptors, the acetylcholine receptor inhibitory peptides of the present invention are expected to be used in the development of a cosmetic composition for alleviating wrinkles, a medicine for the prevention or treatment of acetylcholine receptor-associated diseases, and a health functional food for the amelioration thereof.

Abstract: The present invention relates to nanocapsules coated with chitosan, and a use thereof. A method for preparing nanocapsules having a particle size of 500 nm or less having excellent stability, and a poorly soluble drug is loaded in the nanocapsules prepared by the method, so that an excellent skin permeability rate of drug-containing nanocapsules, drug delivery into the skin achieved thereby, and efficacy caused by the drug are exhibited. Increase in the bioavailability of active ingredients in vivo through oral administration of the prepared nanocapsules is confirmed, and thus it is expected that nanocapsules coated with chitosan of the present invention are used to develop an excellent delivery system, of which the delivery efficiency of a poorly soluble drug or the active ingredients to animals, and companion animals is significantly increased, in the pharmaceutical field, cosmetics industry, food industry, and the like.
