    Abstract: A system for balancing two-wheeled vehicles when approaching rest or when at rest is provided. The system includes a spinning gyro rotor which is precessed upon the sensing of incipient tipping of the vehicle when the vehicle is at rest or approaching rest for generating a force for preventing such tipping. The system may be packaged in a small module that can be mounted on existing two-wheeled vehicles.
