Publication number: 20220286873Abstract: A self-organizing backhaul radio (SOBR) and related arrangements are disclosed. A “primary” link between an first SOBR enabled radio and a second SOBR radio includes a secondary transmission link, referred to as a signature control channel (SCC), as a spread spectrum modulated signal embedded within and transmitted simultaneously with the primary link. The SCC transmissions from the first SOBR radio may be utilized by other SOBR enabled radios to determine an interference level to or from the first SOBR radio's primary link. The SCC transmission may be utilized to allow transmit beam forming between SOBR-enabled radios without damaging other friendly SOBR radios within the propagation distance of the transmitted signals based upon the detection of the SCC transmissions.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 23, 2022Publication date: September 8, 2022Applicant: SKYLINE PARTNERS TECHNOLOGY LLCInventors: Kevin J. NEGUS, James A. PROCTOR, JR.
