Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include systems, computer program products and computer implemented methods for allowing users to purchase one or more products from a merchant. Such embodiments may comprise a mobile device associated with a user, where the mobile device includes a memory having computer instructions that execute the steps of prompting the user to scan the code using the mobile device; translating the code to determine at least a product price and merchant identifier; creating a product purchase prompt on a display associated with the mobile device, and transmitting the product, product price and merchant identifier to a processing server to thereby facilitate an approval of a transaction between the user and the merchant.
