Abstract: The invention relates to a novel device for fixing a partition to a shell (4) of a tube mill in which the partition comprises a cast framework (1), in steel or in cast iron consisting of several sectors (15) provided with a set of fixing holes (32) in their peripheral face (3), each sector (15) being independent of the other sectors, characterized in that it possesses an annular intermediate baseplate (100) arranged facing the said shell (4), providing a space between the shell (4) and the intermediate baseplate (100), which space is chosen so that the inner face of the intermediate baseplate (100) forms a reference surface at the nominal diameter of the periphery of the said cast sectors (15), this space being set with the aid of adjustment elements (110) and the intermediate baseplate (100) being provided with holes (102) which can be matched to the said set of fixing holes (32) in the peripheral face (3) of the sectors (15) in order to enable the latter to be fixed by means of bolts in the holes of the int
Abstract: A device for holding the grates or backside plates of a partition in a tube mill, the partition being made of a frame that is flame cut or cast, in steel or iron. The frame is provided with anchor holes. The holding device is made of a perforated plate held on the partition frame, and is perpendicular to the mill axis, the perforated plate being provided with anchor holes for the grates or backside plates, the holes being, for a given diameter, always identically positioned so that for the given diameter, the same grates or backside plates are always used irrespective of the shape of the partition frame.

Abstract: Control process intended for closed-circuit, dry-method grinding installations which essentially comprises a batching device for feeding of raw materials, a grinder, an adjustable-speed dynamic separator, means for bringing to the separator the matter coming from the grinder, means for returning to the grinder the insufficiently ground matter coming from the separator which is termed oversized from the separator, means for conveying the finished product, a flowmeter for the oversize from the separator, and means for measuring a datum dependent on the feeding of the separator.
Abstract: A lining member for a rotary grinder in the shell of which the member forms a series of corrugated cylindrical surfaces intersected by rings defined by transverse projections (12) on the lining members. The corrugations on each member are at an angle to the shell generatrix along at least a part of the length of the member. The member is suitable for grinders in cement works or the mining industry.
Abstract: A device which regulates the retention time of material ground in a grinding mill is disclosed. The device comprises a cylindrical casing, a wall in the casing having a plurality of apertures therethrough, a reservoir chamber defined between the wall and a side of the casing, lifting structure in the reservoir chamber, and a reservoir scoop spaced from the casing and extending into the resevoir chamber. The discharge scoop comprises a hollow longitudinal member including a first opening on its upper surface and a second opening on its lower surface, with the openings being spaced longitudinally from each other.
