Abstract: A system and method for exchanging or selling event tickets, including a database, a computing device, a seller's mobile device and a buyer's mobile device, a network connecting the computing device and the mobile devices, a plurality of modules executing on the computing device including an authentication module, a geolocation information, and a tickets information module, wherein the geolocation information module tracks the geolocations of the one or more users' mobile devices and verifies that the geolocations of the seller's mobile device and the buyer's mobile device are within a same venue as a prerequisite to the confirmation platform module facilitating an exchange of tickets.
