    Abstract: A skateboard having a front board, a rear board, a connecting element which interconnects the front board and the rear board in a spaced relationship, at least one direction-caster mounted on the underside of each of the front board and the rear board; and the connecting element comprises an elastic member so that the connecting element can be elastically twisted by application of at least one of a twisting or bending force and restores to its original shape when the force is removed.
