Abstract: A posture training device is provided. The posture training device can include a belt with a body contacting portion having a body contact surface extending between a first edge and a second edge, an adjustable and releasable securing mechanism adapted to secure the posture training device around a midsection of a wearer. The posture training device can also include a vertebrae contact portion having a concave surface extending between a first end and a second end, and the concave surface can have a predetermined depth, such that the concave surface is configured to contact and support at least one vertebrae. A method of utilizing the posture training device to train the posture in a person is also provided.
