    Abstract: A method for communicating with an object, for example a vehicle, using a wide area paging network and a cellular mobile communication network that includes the steps of coupling a module with at least a transmitter and a receiver to the object and using the module for communicating with in combination at least three communication networks, the first one being the wide area paging network, the second one being the cellular mobile communication network and the third one being a local network using a spread spectrum modulation method.
