Abstract: A retrofit receptacle assembly includes one or more receptacle housing members, each having an inner portion which extends outwardly beyond the housing member defining an asymmetrical opening therebetween to secure a male connector. The inner portion includes openings to secure electrical prong members from the male connector. Electrical connectors extend from the inner portion to electrical power lines from a dockside power pedestal. A mounting assembly portion of the retrofit receptacle assembly secures the receptacle to the dockside power pedestal.
