  • Publication number: 20070012901
Abstract: A virtual electronic perimeter fence includes at least a first, second and third fence post each including an emitter for emitting a beam of infrared light at a predetermined frequency. The first, second and third fence posts include a receiver for receiving the predetermined frequency of infrared light emitted from a designated fence post. A beam of infrared light of a first frequency is emitted from the first fence post to the second fence post and a beam of infrared light of a second frequency is emitted from the second fence post to the third fence post and infrared light of a third frequency is emitted from the third fence post to the first fence post for providing a virtual electronic perimeter fence that provides an alarm if an interruption occurs in the beam of infrared light while eliminating cross-signals therebetween. A light, sound and video system may be provided.

  • Publication number: 20050029118
Abstract: An electrolytic cell combined into a unitary structure with a liquid circulation fitting, which purifies water by electrode plates inside the cell when an aqueous solution is present. The unitary structure replaces the existing water return fitting. This integrated structure is well suited for use in pools, tubs, spas, fountains or similar large liquid containers. The production of halogen inside the structure is not required to coincide with the cycle of the existing pool filtration system. Rather, the electrodes receive a continuous supply of low level power and the halogen produced inside the structure is disbursed back into the body of water through the fitting using an integrated, dedicated circulation pump, special channels in the surface and a check valve to insure one directional flow from the pool pump and natural convection. Using fresh water drawn from the vessel, halogen is then disbursed back into the vessel with the water at a location different from where the fresh water was drawn.

  • Patent number: 6315424
Abstract: An underwater safety lighting device for lighting water beneath a surface (4) of the water in a swimming pool is provided. A water-tight light housing (1) is disposable beneath the surface (4) of the water in the pool and has a lens (5) removably attached to a front side (6) of the light housing (1), a light-emitting source (12) is secured within the light housing and a concaved light reflector (9) is secured within the light housing. The light-emitting source (12) is disposed above a conjugate axis (21) of the concave light reflector (9). An aperture (20) is disposed entirely in an upper one-half (21) of the light reflector (9) for receiving the light-emitting source (12). A control housing (2) is disposable out of the water of the pool and has a control device (26). An elongated connector (3) having a lower connector end (28) connects with a light housing connection portion (22) and an upper connector end (29) connects with a support of the pool.
