    Abstract: The present invention provides a novel composition useful for restoring a fabric in need of restoration due to compression thereof, for example the fabric backing of a printing blanket, in particular a smashed printing blanket. The composition includes a sulfated fatty alcohol anionic surfactant, a sulfonated alkylaryl anionic surfactant, and an organic phosphate ester surfactant. Also provided is a printing blanket, to which the novel composition has been applied, as well as an improved method for restoring a printing blanket.
