Abstract: A computer-implemented communication management system allows its Users to consolidate a plurality of communication mechanisms and provides a single point of control to manage the reception, routing, processing, and retransmission of messages. The system includes an extensible command language that enables various user intentions, including complex routing, group creation, and group management, to be specified as single commands.
