Abstract: The disclosure provides RFID labels including a composite label affixed to a surface of a container holding an object, including a first configuration wherein the first label section is positioned in the composite label and wherein the first label section can be removed from the composite label and configured to be affixed to the object.

Abstract: Disclosed ae fabric-based radio frequency identification (RFID) tags and methods of manufacture. The method is characterized by forming a knitted fabric from at least one primary non-conductive fiber and a secondary conductive fiber, wherein the secondary conductive fiber is distributed within the knitted fabric to form a plurality of dipole antennas; integrating an RFID inlay with each of the plurality of dipole antennas to form pairs of inlays and antennas; and, cutting the knitted fabric to separate each of the pairs of inlays and antennas into individual RFID tags. The RFID inlay comprises an RFID integrated circuit (IC) and a loop antenna on a substrate; the RFID inlay is positioned on the fabric-based antenna such that the loop antenna is inductively coupled to a dipole antenna.
