Fluid bores are provided in the ring (12). A part (13) of the lubrication ring (6) is manufactured by an additive manufacturing technology.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method for mounting a bearing 200 on a roll neck and for removing the bearing from the roll neck of a roll. Known devices of this type have a first and a second piston/cylinder unit. They also have a stop ring 130, fixed in the axial direction A at the end of the roll neck 320 remote from the body, which acts as a stop for the inner piston 110 of the first piston/cylinder unit. In addition, the known devices have a nut 150 which can be screwed onto an external thread of the inner piston to secure the bearing 200 in the axial direction, in particular during a rolling operation. As an alternative to the known prior art, the present invention provides that an annular cylinder 120 serves both as a cylinder for the first piston/cylinder unit and as a cylinder for the second piston/cylinder unit.
Abstract: If a mandrel for extruding metal pipes, having two axially offset pressing surfaces with different radial characteristics and having a transition region between these two pressing surfaces has a support surface in the transition region then the negative effect of narrowing, which arises owing to the mandrel shifting from a first pressing position, in which the first of the two pressing surfaces interacts with a die, to a second pressing position, in which the second pressing surface interacts with the die, can be minimized.

Abstract: An abdominal belt that is configured to apply heat, vibration, and/or pressure to a lower abdominal portion of a user's body to alleviate pain and discomfort (e.g., from PMS) is disclosed. In some cases, the abdominal belt has a first end, a second end, and an abdominal pad disposed at the belt's second end. In some cases, the abdominal pad includes one or more heating elements and/or vibrating mechanisms. Indeed, in some cases, the pad includes two vibrating mechanisms configured to be disposed over a user's ovaries when the belt is worn. In some cases, the abdominal pad also defines an opening through which the belt's first end can extend. Additionally, the belt includes a coupling mechanism that couples the first end to a middle portion of the belt when the belt is extended through the opening and the first end of the belt is folded back on the middle portion. Other implementations are described.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for controlling a stretch-reducing mill. Tube ends of stretched tubes are optimized by controlling one or more motors of the stretch-reducing mill. The method includes at least one outlet-side wall thickness measurement and an automatic adjustment of the value of a speed change of the motors to the tube wall thickness profile. The progression of the speed changes over time of individual or all motors is also automatically adjusted on the basis of the tube wall thickness measured values.
