    Abstract: A novel and low allergenic nutrient composition is discribed. The composition contains Kappa-caseinglycomacropeptide and, optionally, one or more other amino acid sources selected from amino acids, peptides, or proteins, as nitrogen sources. The nutrient composition provides a favorable taste, no allergenicity, a high nutritive value, good absorptivity and digestibility, and a superior antiinfective effect. It can be served as formulas, enteral feeding nutrients, tube feeding nutrients, or nutritious supplements.
