Abstract: Techniques for aggregating electronic mail messages are described, including receiving electronic mail associated with a domain, the electronic mail including multiple messages, each message indicating a address being associated with an account, identifying the account with which the address is associated, generating a clean version of each message, the clean version including a subject and a body of a message, and publishing the clean version on a shared environment, including displaying at least a portion of the clean version in the shared environment, the shared environment accessible using access information associated with the account.

Abstract: A user who is subscribed to content from a publisher may become disengaged due to lack of activity. In a content management system, user information associated with a disengaged user is received from a partner system. An account creation request is generated based on the user information and one or more unread content items associated with the disengaged user is determined from the partner system. A message comprising a selection of the one or more unread content items is generated and configured to be customizable. The message is then communicated to the disengaged user using the user information. Advertisements may be targeted to disengaged users based on interests associated with subscriptions and interactions with content.

A unsubscribe request by the user may unsubscribe the user from the subscribed-to-domain of the publisher and may transition the user to the non-subscription-based domain or provide the user with a selectable link (e.g., hyperlink) to the non-subscription-based domain. A backend system (e.g., an administrator) may receive unsubscribed to content from publishers (e.g., from a frontend system) and may rank the content for presentation on a brand page or other format on the non-subscription-based domain. Collection, organization, publisher status and content status may be directed by the backend system.
