    Abstract: A coupling device for tubes includes first and second concentric cylindrical parts, the inner one of which has at one end thereof, a plurality of hinged arcuate clamping catches having retaining teeth on the inner faces thereof, the hinges for each of the clamping catches being resilient and functioning to urge the clamping catches outwardly away from the longitudinal axis of the inner member.
