Each outer step is provided with an oval opening intended to cooperate with a respective pivot which the battery cover has on its opposite sides. The oval shape of the pivot cooperates with the oval shape opening due to their orientation to prevent removal of the handle at either a folded down or upraised orientation. The span of the first steps of the handle covers the terminals of the battery, and each first step permits anchoring of the cover-pieces over the terminals.

Cutter plates (25, 26) are mounted on the upper roller. The cutter plates are provided with blades (29, 30) that cut the strip (20) and the bridges (31) transversely to yield plates (32) with their respective tabs (33). Inserts (35, 36) are provided under the cutter plates.

The closure is formed with a cutter portion arranged to gouge or broach a groove in the upper or lower surface of the bar to ensure leak-proof closure of the mould.
