Abstract: An electrical connection terminal for power transporting wires of the type comprising a multi-strand central conductor covered with insulation. The terminal comprises a rigid body (4) having threaded or tapped tubular ends each of which has at least one wire passing opening (7) passing at least partially transversely therethrough and elongate in shape parallel to the longitudinal axis of the terminal. A stopper (6) is screwed onto each tubular end and has a pusher (12) which penetrates into the tubular end to an ever increasing extent as the stopper is screwed thereon. A conducting spike (9) has perforating end points projecting from a common wall (8) through the bottoms of respective ones of the wire passing openings (7) of the tubular ends in order to enable wires inserted into the terminal through said ends to be interconnected by the spike.

Abstract: A terminal comprises a slotted bolt (7), and a cap (10) therefor. The cap has one end closed by a plate (14) with two lugs (11,12) projecting perpendicularly from the periphery of the plate (14) and a central boss (13) with two plane faces (18) opposite the gaps between the lugs. The plane faces have hooks (58) reaching part of the way up them, and the end of the boss beyond the hooks is polygonal. The tool includes a torque limiter (25), a casing (28), and a drive member (29) passing through the casing and made fast to the torque limiter. The casing has two lugs (44,45) and a lock (30) with hooks (39,39') that engage the hooks on the cap. The lugs on the casing fit in between the lugs on the cap, and the drive member has a sleeve (31) at its cap-engaging end with a socket (32) shaped to receive the central boss (13).

Abstract: A rapid-connection terminal for a conductor includes an insulating housing bearing an upwardly open slotted contact blade at its center and parallel sidewalls on opposite sides of the blade which are also slotted, the slots of the insulating housing wall bearing sockets for pinching the insulation covering the conductor. A T-shaped cover functions as a tool and bears projecting tabs which lock within the slots of the housing sidewalls at a widened terminal part whose ends form sockets to further pinch the conductor insulation at the sidewall slots.
Abstract: A terminal block for ground conductors, includes, in an insulating casing, a tunnel type connector with contact shoes which co-operate with the edges of a metal section bar for supporting said terminal block. The connector is formed in two parts (5,5') each of which includes a longitudinal flat portion (7,7') disposed against the like portion of the other part and each flat portion including a part of contact shoes (8,8'), the contact shoe of one flat portion being associated with the contact shoe of the other flat portion, said parts being assembled together by crimping the flat portions.
