Abstract: A stopper for a dispensing container having a body portion from which a pour spout extends, which spout is closed by a cap and wherein the stopper further includes a diaphragm member for surrounding the spout and sealing the body portion thereof and which diaphragm also includes a vertically extending band having a slot therein for receiving a locking flange extending from the cap with the band being severable from the diaphragm upon opening of the cap to thereby provide a guarantee strip to indicate opening of the stopper.

Abstract: A combination closure assembly and container wherein the threaded neck of the container includes two series of notches along the base thereof and wherein the closure is provided with a tamper indicating guarantee strip which is lockingly engaged with a first of the series of notches so that the strip will be severed from the remaining portion of the closure assembly if access is attempted into the container and wherein the closure assembly also includes a conical sleeve which is engageable with the second of the series of notches upon the severance of the guarantee strip in such a manner as to prevent the closure assembly from being removed from the container.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a mould for making articles of expanded plastics material and to a machine adapted to receive such a mould. The mould according to the invention comprises a finned body whose central bore constitutes a cavity. The latter is closed in its lower part by a plunger while the top of this mould comprises a support provided with a guide in which a slide element moves longitudinally. The latter comprises a perforation intended for the injection of matter into the cavity, and a hole for ejection of the moulded piece after translation of the slide element.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a container construction provided with a nestable pouring spout assembly integral with a collar fitted with respect to the opening of the container and comprising a tubular sleeve adapted to be retracted and nested within the container or pulled to an upstanding extended position for pouring. A threaded cap closure is adapted to be screwed onto the tubular sleeve. The periphery of the head of the cap is provided with two half-rings connected to the periphery of the head by means of frangible bridges, the half-rings forming disengagement levers. A vertical rib fixed to the periphery of each half-ring is provided for preventing access to the head when the tubular sleeve is nested in storing position.

Abstract: A bottle stopper made of expanded plastic material and having a cylindrical side wall and transverse end walls, the end walls having a bead portion comprising a rounded peripheral edge curving smoothly into the side wall, and the end walls having concave central depressed portions which expand as the stopper is radially compressed by insertion into a bottle.

Abstract: A capping capsule with a thin wall comprising a tearable guarantee strip connected to the skirt of said capsule by means of two rupture lines of reduced thickness. The tearable guarantee strip is provided with vertical ribs spaced from each other, the thickness of which rapidly decreases to reach zero at the edges of said strip defining the crimping lines.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a flexible package for storing and dispensing liquid or pasty matters, of the type made by moulding a plastics material and comprising a tube extended by an endpiece, the joining portion of these two parts being such as to allow the complete expulsion of the product, wherein the joining portion is deformed irreversibly under the action exerted thereon by the user.

Abstract: In a retractable pourer assembly associated with a receptacle, of the type comprising an annular base clipped in the opening of the receptacle, a tubular pourer sliding with respect to the base which bears a bead for limiting its outward stroke while its lower part is provided with a bead cooperating with the base in its emerged position, a stopper presenting a thread adapted to be screwed on the free end of the pourer and which is provided with a second skirt surrounding the one bearing the thread, said second skirt being provided with two diametrically opposite rings clipping beneath the bead on the base, and two half-rings associated with the periphery of said second skirt, each ring being connected to the periphery of the second skirt of the stopper on the one hand by at least one bridge and on the other hand by two parallel, opposite lugs constituting pivots and beyond which the two ends of the half-ring project to form disengagement lever.

Abstract: The security closure device according to the invention comprises a capsule screwed on said neck, a cap surrounding said capsule and a tearable guarantee strip fast with the capsule, first means being provided between the cap and the capsule for permitting the capsule to be screwed on by actuating the cap, second means being provided for moving elastically the cap in the axial direction after the guarantee strip was torn off in order to permit cooperation of third means for rotatably locking said cap and capsule to allow the capsule to be unscrewed without opposing action from said first means, the capsule being provided with a central raised portion connected to the capsule by an annular U-shaped portion extending into the neck of the container.

Abstract: A composite stopper comprises a body of resilient plastics material and a head surmounting the body. The head has a skirt extending around the body and a sleeve which is force fitted into a blind recess in the body. The fit of the sleeve causes the adjacent body portion to expand into engagement with the inner surface of the skirt.

Abstract: The invention comprehends a capsule for stoppering the neck of a bottle, characterized in that its skirt has a cross section which is cylindrical practically over the whole of its vertical height, has a slight thickness, substantially uniform over the whole of its height, and includes around its inner wall, a retaining rib of triangular section intended to be anchored and fit beneath the collar on the neck of the bottle.

Abstract: A screw threaded cap for stoppering and re-stoppering of bottles enclosing gaseous beverages such as beer, has a base comprising a resilient lip adapted to co-operate with the junction of the bore of the bottle neck and its end surface. Ribs limit the distance between the latter and the corresponding surface of the base. The upper portion of the skirt has a rounded profile preventing cracks.
