Abstract: A device for spraying or dispensing a fluid and adapted to be mounted on a fluid tank 30 includes a body 1, an actuator member 3 slidably mounted relative to the body, an inlet passage 14 communicating with the tank and enabling the fluid to enter into the body, and an elongate member 5, 25 slidably mounted in the inlet passage and penetrating into the tank. The elongate member is displaceable together with the actuator member towards the tank on the first occasion that the actuator member is actuated, and the elongate member exerts mechanical action on an element 33, 42 secured to the tank when it is displaced, and in such a manner as to puncture or dislodge the element.

Abstract: A hollow elongate pushbutton receives a nozzle rod 2, and is mounted at a mid-portion on the valve rod of a liquid spray pump intended to operate under pressures on the order of more than 100 bars, and at a repetition rate of 50 Hz or more. The center of gravity of the pushbutton and nozzle rod assembly lies on the axis of the valve rod, to avoid vibrations during use.

Abstract: The present dispenser device is designed in particular for eye treatment and comprises a pump body including a pump chamber, a piston slidable within the chamber and extended beyond the chamber by a rod pierced by a channel capable of communicating with the chamber, and an endpiece fixed to the rod and having a dispensing orifice in line with the channel of the rod. In addition to the above conventional items, the dispenser has a chamber admission valve which is constituted by co-operation between the enclosure defining the pump chamber and the piston which engages therein or projects therefrom as the case may be. The co-operation is preferably via a sealing lip. This disposition makes it possible to dispense a drop whose volume as determined by the capacity of the chamber is very small. In addition, the piston is returned to its rest position with the admission valve closed by resilient means disposed between the pump body and the endpiece. This guarantees that only drop is dispensed at a time.

Abstract: A precompression metering pump of the prior art which is otherwise particularly advantageous, is nevertheless difficult to prime because of the high degree of compressibility of the air it initially contains in its pump chamber. The present invention improves this aspect of metering pump operations. It consists in providing additional resilient means (20) and at least one cylindrical part (10) level with the conventional outlet non-return valve of the pump and constituting a second outlet non-return valve. In a particular embodiment, the resilient means and the cylindrical part are received one above the other in the outlet channel (33) of the pump actuator rod (31). To do this, they bear respectively against a choking step (32) in the form of a lug and a shoulder (34) presented by said channel. In normal operation, the differential piston (4) of the pump moves out of the way so that operation takes place as in a prior art precompression metering pump.
