Abstract: The replenishment quantity for each article on a sales display is determined from the measurement of the length left on the peg, this measurement being performed by means of either: (a) a gun which comprises an ultrasonic emitting device and an ultrasonic receiving device, these being housed in slidably adjustable mounting bezels, an aiming arrangement consisting of a lamp, a reflecting chamber, a lens, a color imparting filter and reflective ducts, as well as a rear-mounted display and a front-mounted nose, the latter being provided with ducts, a reflective tube and a recessed hooking-on component; or (b) a portable marking indicia reader which reads marking indicia placed on the sales display itself. These devices are connected, via suitable interface to a microcomputer which computes the replenishment quantity based upon the product parameters associated with the particular product and the vacant space on the peg.
Abstract: This sales display unit principally comprises downward-inclined pegs (2), in its upper region, and upward-inclined pegs (4) in its lower region. A rearwardly-inclined fascia element (7) separates the spaces (1 and 3) occupied by each type of peg, which are extended, upwards and downwards respectively, by a forwardly-inclined fascia element (10) and a hinged fascia element (13). The sales front of the lower space (3) is rearwardly inclined, and the packages which are hung on the corresponding pegs (4) are subjectd to upward returning forces, exerted by springs (5). Each of the fascia elements is equipped with supplementary means of information, and may be utilized for displaying advertizing media.
Abstract: The device is composed of a perforated tab (1), provided with a spacing flange (2) transmitting the push force at the level of the peg (3). The packaging box is composed of a semi-rigid box-shaped case (4), provided with edge areas on which a heat-sealable plastic film (5) is fixed, this film (5) also being utilized for hot adhesive-bonding the perforated tab (1) to the upper edge area (4a) of the box-shaped case (4).
