    Abstract: A pipeline assembly includes a hollow body having a first opening and a second opening. A valve port fluidly coupled to the first opening is provided on the body and a valve port seat is disposed in the valve port. A shutter is urged against the valve port seat by a spring fluidly de-coupling the second opening from the first opening and the valve port. A valve plug includes a check valve. When the valve plug is disposed in the valve port, the valve plug decouples the shutter from the valve port seat to fluidly couple the first opening and the second opening with a fluid flow in only a first direction when the check valve is in an open condition.

    Abstract: A valve designed for the prevention of leakage between two or more ports when the valve is in its off position and where leakage occurs at a port seal as shown and described. In this design, each port is sealed when the valve is in the off position, and an open area vented to atmosphere is provided between each of the port seals, whereby if a seal should leak, the fluid will pass to the atmosphere by way of a vent, and will not come in contact with any other sealed port in the valve. The vented chamber separates each port seal from other port seals in the valve. The vented chamber is exterior to the valve and is not a part of the inside of the valve member such as a passage therethrough.

    Abstract: A valve is provided for operation within a substantially cylindrical conduit section having an internal threaded portion adjacent a radially inwardly extending shoulder. A cylindrical apertured valve guide having external threads adjacent one end and an internal circumferential groove adjacent the same end is disposed in threaded engagement with the internal threaded portion of the conduit with the end of the guide abutting said shoulder. An annular sealing gasket is disposed on said shoulder within said groove to provide a valve seat for a spherical shaped valve member which is provided with a cylindrical side portion which is slidable within said cylindrical guide. The valve member also has an axially extending stem extending through an aperture in the opposite end of said valve guide and a spring surrounds said stem to bias the valve member into engagement with the seat.
