Abstract: A chip packaging structure with better reliability includes a first protective layer, a redistribution layer formed on the first protective layer, at least one chip electrically connected to the redistribution layer, and an encapsulating layer covering the redistribution layer, the chip, and the side surfaces of the first protective layer. The first protective layer comprises an exposed surface and at least four side surfaces each connected to the exposed surface. A plurality of second openings is defined in the second protective layer, and a portion of the redistribution layer is exposed from the plurality of second openings.

Abstract: A grouping method for a sensing device is provided. The sensing device includes a sensor, a processor, storage and a communication device controlled by the processor. The method includes: inquiring the sensing device's sensing function, supported network types; exchanging the inquired information with other sensing devices having a same sensing function and in networks of same supported network types; forming a function group based on a pre-defined first rule, and exchanging first configuration parameters within the function group; designating one of the sensing devices of the group a master sensing device, and rest of the group slave sensing device(s) based on the exchanged first configuration parameters and a pre-defined second rule; and controlling the master sensing device's the communication device to receive operation parameters and commands from a device outside the function group and relaying the operation parameters and commands to the rest of the function group.

Abstract: A control system and a security checking method thereof is used in an embedded system. The control system includes a process module and a first memory module. The first memory module is used to store a pre-loader code and a first secure key. The security checking method includes the following steps: loading the pre-loader code and the first secure key; executing the pre-loader code to download a first program from an in-system programming module; determining whether the first program corresponds to the first secure key or not; if yes, then downloading a second program from the in-system programming module; and programming an internal program and a second secure key by the second program.
Abstract: An auto-calibration method is applied to a delay circuit, which includes a plurality of delay chains. If the number of accumulative errors of a designated delay chain as a current delay path is larger than a threshold value, the delay circuit scans all the delay chains and records their accumulative error numbers during a unit of time; otherwise, the current delay path is maintained. Afterwards, the number of accumulative errors is compared between all the delay chains to find out which one of the delay chains has a minimum accumulative error number, and the delay chain with a minimum accumulative error number is designated as a new current delay path.
