Patents Assigned to SOFTBOX SYSTEMS LIMITED
  • Patent number: 11279522
Abstract: A bag or bag-like transport container or delivery container that can provide a high degree of thermal insulation. More particularly, the disclosed invention relates to an improved container for storage and transportation of goods that comprises a bag-like or box-like container that can be hand-held and that can provide good thermal insulation. The disclosed invention seeks to provide an improved corrugated sheet container and provides a system having first and second cellulose fiber bag-like elements, at least one of which is provided with a surface metallization treatment whereby to provide beneficial thermal characteristics.

  • Patent number: 11254485
Abstract: An insulating transport/storage container for transporting/storing temperature sensitive materials, with a generally tubular wall element defining a load volume between first and second apertures at either end thereof, the tubular wall element having an axis. First and second closures operate to close first and second apertures and fastening means operable to secure said first and second closures. The tubular wall element comprises a multiple-layer winding of single-sided corrugated sheet, with the layers coupled together whereby to define a high level of thermal resistance.

  • Patent number: 10442567
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of the transportation and storage of goods and to a transport and storage system and, in particular, a system for the transportation and storage of goods such as palletized goods and self-standing goods. The present invention seeks to provide a system that can enable goods to be securely and reliably horizontally, vertically and offset stacked, despite different sizes of goods and support members therefor, such as pallets, whereby wasted volumes arising from the presence of irregular loads, pallets or pallets of different levels or different load ratings in storage and transport can be minimized.

  • Patent number: 9718608
Abstract: The present invention relates to a transport container which provides mechanical and thermal stability for a load and which container is fabricated as the container is loaded. In particular, the present invention relates to a container which can be readily transported on aircraft, such as an aircraft container. In the field of logistics, that is the field of movement and supply of produce and materials, in particular in the transport of intermediate and finished products, containers have been developed which safely protect from physical damage a wide variety of product. Food and pharmaceutical products not only need protection from physical shock and pressures but also require temperature stability during transportation; otherwise goods can be damaged and be unusable, whether such damage is apparent or not.

  • Publication number: 20130020309
Abstract: The present invention relates to a temperature control system for cartons, such as transport cartons which are employed to transport goods in aircraft, and to cartons fitted with the same. Food and pharmaceutical products require temperature stability during transportation; otherwise goods can be damaged and be unusable, whether such damage is apparent or not. Goods can be transported in tropical heat, packaged and may be left on runways at extreme temperatures and then placed within a hold where low pressures and low temperatures exist during flight. The invention seeks to provide a simple to fabricate temperature control system for a carton which can retain goods reliably at a specified temperature. The invention also provides a powered monitor system is provided whereby to ensure that extreme temperature excursions in transport can be provided by a simple to use container insert.
