Abstract: The system may provide for the collection of data in a heterogeneous network, long term secure storage of the data, and secure transfer of the data to an environment that may be secure and controlled for the purpose of controlled and secure selected viewing of all or parts of the data. The data stored may include core data of interest as well as any data that is associated with the core data. The core data and associated data may be stored. To do so, the system may identify and collect associated data at the point of release of all or part of the data. Further, the system may provide secure and controlled transfer of the data to a permanent and secure media. Lastly, the system may provide secure transfer of all or parts of the data from the media to a controlled and secure environment suitably constructed to provide for secure viewing of all or parts of the data under the control of the owner of the data.

The client node selects at least one policy from the policy alternatives and transmit the selected policy to the provider server. The provider server verifies the client's policy selection based on the policy alternatives and communicates over a network with the node based on the selected policy.

Abstract: A system, method and computer program product related to the bulk transfer of events are provided. The events may be transferred between various nodes on a network. A first node on the network may have various events to be transmitted over the network to other nodes. The events may be arranged into distinct messages. Some of the messages may be intended for the same destination node. Those messages intended for the same destination node may be combined together into a single message. The single message may be transmitted over the network to the destination node. The destination node may then process the single message to retrieve the plurality of messages from the single message.

Abstract: A system for distributed business process tracking includes a client adapted to receive a first notification and a second notification, a first provider adapted to perform a distributed business process using a first process, generate a first notification based on the first process, and send the first notification to the client, a second provider adapted to perform a distributed business process using a second process, generate a second notification based on the second process, and send the second notification to the client, and wherein the first provider sends the first notification to the client independently of the second provider or the first provider sends the first notification to the client using the second provider.

Abstract: In general, in one aspect, the invention provides a modular application collaborator for providing inter-operability between applications including a plurality of connectors for communicating with a like plurality of applications and an interchange server. The interchange server includes an application collaboration module and service module. The service module transfers messages between connectors and the application collaboration module. The application collaboration defines the inter-operability between two or more applications. The interchange server service module includes a transaction service and an error service. Transactions are executed in the application collaboration module and the transaction service records each action and a compensating action for undoing an associated action.
