Publication number: 20120089670Abstract: A method and system for conducting Internet-based conventions-includes meeting planner clients, exhibitor/sponsor clients and attendee clients, all using web browser computers and a central website server on the Internet. The system receives and stores initial convention data, and control parameter rules from meeting planner clients. Then the system receives and stores exhibit booth display data and control parameter rules for said convention from exhibitor/sponsor clients. Based on search criteria provided by the participating attendee client, the central website server releases stored database convention information and provides a wide array of convention activity simulated with the program instructions and the databases. Thus, the system allows the creation of a “virtual convention venue” for conventions that exist only on the central website server and available using the Internet.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 13, 2011Publication date: April 12, 2012Applicant: Software Management, Inc.Inventor: Paul D. Publication number: 20100131419Abstract: A commodity shipment data management system includes a loader computer for storage of shipment data in a loader database. The system prompts the user to enter values for shipment data parameters, and prevents entry of invalid values. Data may also be entered remotely by wireless transmission. A GPS receiver collects loader location data and sends it to the loader computer. An output device records shipment data on a portable data storage medium which accompanies the shipment and is read into a destination weighscale computer. The system minimizes manual entry and transfer of data, reducing the risk of human error in data entry, and enhancing the reliability of the data. The GPS data facilitates verification of the geographical source and chain of custody of the shipped commodity, and, combined with data gathered by loader function sensors, facilitates detection of errors and fraudulent activity in connection with commodity shipments.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 16, 2009Publication date: May 27, 2010Applicant: Aldata Software Management Inc.Inventors: Michael Lawrence Meagher, Robert Brilhart Lucke, Markus H.
