  • Patent number: 6143098
Abstract: A protective atmosphere for the heat-treatment of metals is obtained by heating a reactor containing a Nickel-based catalyst to a temperature of between 1000.degree. C. and 1200.degree. C., feeding to the reactor a flow of nitrogen having an oxygen content of between 0.1% and 9% and a flow of hydrocarbons that is substantially stoichiometric to the content of oxygen in the flow of nitrogen to obtain CO and H.sub.2, and sending the gas from the catalytic reactor (2) to a heat-treatment furnace (1). The flow of hydrocarbons is interrupted periodically or by command while maintaining the flow of nitrogen, and is resumed after a preset or calculated time.

  • Patent number: 5524862
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a mixer valve with electronic control, which incorporates a group of valves (27) arranged in a housing (26) provided in the valve body axially to the coupling (22) which defines the water outlet duct towards the supply mouth. The group of valves consists of a diaphragm valve (30), which is made of an elastic material and essentially has the shape of a small bowl, arranged at the level of a valve seat (32) on the inside of the outlet duct (21), and the group consists of a stop valve (31) which is controlled by an electromagnet (29). The diaphragm valve (30) delimits an internal chamber (35), which communicates, from one component (A), with a mixed water supply duct (24), and from another component (B), with an outlet port (C) which is connected to the drain duct (21) and which is opened and closed by the stop valve.

  • Patent number: 5299593
Abstract: The invention relates to a mixer valve for hot and cold water having a cartridge-type body 10 with a rise 16 which is integral to the base 11 of its body and the rise having a slot 17 for holding a pressure balancer 18. The slot has passages for the inlet of water to the balancer and passages for the outlet of water from the balancer towards the plate-type mixer unit inside the body, the water coming out of the mixer unit and going towards the delivery mouth passing on outside and around the slot.
