Abstract: A bifacial photovoltaic module with at least one bifacial solar cell is provided. The at least one bifacial solar cell includes a substrate with a front-side and a rear-side. The front-side is the light incident side and the rear-side has rear-side contact structure. The rear-side contact structure includes a plurality of electrically conductive contact fingers, which have a first metal, a plurality of solder pads electrically connected to the contact fingers. The solder pads have a top. The solder pads have a second metal, which is different from the first metal. The rear-side contact structure further includes several cell connectors electrically connected to the solder pads. The top of the solder pads is free from the contact fingers in an area along one direction. The cell connectors are disposed planar on or above this area.

Abstract: A photovoltaic system has at least two bifacial solar modules, which are respectively held in a module holder, and a reflector. The module holders are configured to hold two bifacial solar modules vertically positioned and parallel to each other, wherein the module holders are interconnected via the reflector.
Abstract: A frame profile (1) for a solar cell laminate (10) includes a laminate clamping section (2), which comprises two parallel clamping feet (2a, 2b) configured plane and mutually spaced apart for clamped mounting of the solar cell laminate (10); and a profile section (3) adjoining the laminate clamping section (2), which includes a portion formed—by sides (3a, 3b)—for the solar cell laminate (10). Therefore, the sides (3a, 3b) are formed such that the portion includes an undercut at least partially. A solar module (100) with at least one such frame profile (1) has a panel-shaped solar cell laminate (10), which is inserted between the clamping feet (2a, 2b) of the laminate clamping section (2) right up to the portion and is connected to the frame profile (1) of an at least partially framed solar module (100).
Abstract: A solar cell with a dielectric double layer and also a method for the manufacture thereof are described. A first dielectric layer (3), which contains aluminum oxide or consists of aluminum oxide, and a second, hydrogen-containing dielectric layer (5) are produced by means of atomic layer deposition, allowing very good passivation of the surface of solar cells to be achieved.
