  • Patent number: 11724437
Abstract: A bending method and a bending device, wherein a composite bar comprising a bundle of reinforcing fibres embedded in a polymer matrix is bent at a bending point. To make it bendable, the composite bar is heated locally at the bending point using an ultrasonic device with a sonotrode. After the bending point has been heated, an infeeding movement between the composite bar and the sonotrode is used to deform a region of the composite bar at the bending point to create a deformed portion of which the outer dimensions are different from the outer dimensions of the bar portions of the composite bar adjoining the bending point. The two bar portions are then moved or angled away in relation to one another, and so the composite bar is curved at the bending point. Once the desired bending has been achieved, the composite bar is cured at the bending point.

  • Patent number: 11655636
Abstract: A reinforcing body and a method for its manufacturing. The reinforcing body has at least one reinforcing bar. Each reinforcing bar has a core with a peripheral surface at which a rib structure with at least one rib and at least one depression is provided. The core is formed by at least one first fiber strand embedded in a core matrix. For creating the at least one rib at least one second fiber strand is embedded into a rib matrix, wherein the at least one second fiber strand and the rib matrix are separated by at least one depression in a direction parallel to a longitudinal center axis of the reinforcing bar, such that the at least one second fiber strand is separated into fiber strand sections. The at least one first and the at least one second fiber strand have fibers of different materials.

  • Patent number: 11536031
Abstract: A reinforcing mesh element for embedding in a cement matrix of a building structure, preferably in a corner region or in a curved region. The reinforcing mesh element has a grid-shaped arrangement of fiber bundles that are embedded in a plastic matrix. The reinforcing mesh element has at least one rigid zone and at least one flexible zone. In the at least one flexible zone the plastic matrix consists of an elastomer plastic. The plastic matrix comprises in the at least one rigid zone a thermoset plastic. The flexible or rigid form of the reinforcing mesh element is thus obtained, due to the set-up of the plastic matrix. Additional stiffening bodies or stiffening elements that are connected with the grid-shaped arrangement can be omitted. The reinforcing mesh element can be adapted to the respective situation and simplifies handling when manufacturing a building structure.

  • Patent number: 11358305
Abstract: A method for producing a three-dimensional construction material component preferably having at least one curved surface. A plurality of spacers are arranged in a formwork. A textile reinforcement is supported on the spacers, such that the textile reinforcement has a defined position within a formwork interior of the formwork. A tensile force is applied via a tensioning device to the textile reinforcement in at least one tension direction. Construction material is introduced into the formwork interior and surrounds the textile reinforcement. The construction material is then hardened, wherein the tensile force is maintained during the hardening. During this process, the spacers are integrated into the construction material component. The tensioning device has at least one clamping unit for clamping an end portion of the textile reinforcement between two clamping surfaces. The clamping surfaces are provided on clamping insert bodies, which are of a plastic material of a defined hardness.

  • Patent number: 10988929
Abstract: A concrete component has a concrete matrix (49) and at least one non-metal reinforcing element (50), which can be shaped and at least one reinforcing part (29). The at least one reinforcing part (29) has a plurality of reinforcing threads (34) or reinforcing yarn arranged in a plastic matrix of a plastic (K). The plastic (K) is designed to be reversibly cross-linked. The cross-links can be released by heating the plastic (K) and reestablished by cooling the plastic back down. Thus, it is possible to produce and store a reinforcing element in completely hardened form as a standard element. In one application, the produced reinforcing element can be reshaped into the desired shape by releasing the cross-links in one or more locations, reshaping the reinforcing element, and then hardening the reinforcing element again by reestablishing the cross-links.

  • Patent number: 10934701
Abstract: A positioning device and method for producing a construction material body. The positioning device holds and orients a reinforcement body consisting of a textile reinforcement within a formwork. The positioning device comprises first and second holding part groups arranged on a main body. At least one of the two holding part groups is movable between holding and release positions. In the holding position, each holding part acts on an associated location of engagement on the reinforcement body. In the release position, the distance between the holding parts is different from the distance between the locations of engagement on the reinforcement body, such that the positioning device is brought into engagement with the reinforcement body or can be removed therefrom. In the release position, independent handling of the positioning device relative to the reinforcement body is possible. To switch between the holding and release positions, an actuation device is provided.

  • Patent number: 10870992
Abstract: A reinforcement arrangement and a method for producing a construction material body using the reinforcement arrangement. The reinforcement arrangement comprises a reinforcement body and at least one holding anchor unit. Each holding anchor unit is arranged or attached at the reinforcement body by a foot section. A holding section adjoining the foot section is moveable between a storage position and a function position. In the storage position, the holding section extends directly adjacent along the reinforcement body and abuts the reinforcement body at one or more locations. In the function position, a free end of the holding section opposite the foot section is larger than in the storage position. The holding section can be moved manually or self-acting from the storage position into the function position. The reinforcement body, the holding section, and the foot section are preferably embodied as textile-reinforced elements.

  • Patent number: 10815151
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for producing a reinforcement mesh. Here, a reinforcement fiber strand is firstly saturated with a resin (H) and cured to form a cured, fiber-reinforced strand material. The strand material present as an endless material is then cut lengthwise into bars, which are then used as longitudinal bars or transverse bars for forming the reinforcement mesh. A connecting material is used at each intersection point between a longitudinal bar and a transverse bar and is dispensed in liquid form at the intersection point or is liquefied and then cured at the intersection point. A fixed connection is thus created between the longitudinal bars and the transverse bars at the intersection points. Between the intersection points, the longitudinal bars and the transverse bars have portions that are free of connecting material.

  • Patent number: 10253501
Abstract: The invention relates to a spacer (1) for a reinforcement layer (16), a reinforcement system (29) for a concrete component (21), and a method for the production of a reinforcement system (29). The spacers (1) described allow especially mesh-type reinforcement layers (16) to be kept at a distance from other bodies (24, 28) in a particularly simple manner. The spacers (1) are fitted by inserting them into a mesh (8) of the reinforcement layer (16) and connecting them thereto by twisting.
