Abstract: A postprocessing device includes a pair of folding rollers, a folding blade, a transport device, a roller driver, a blade driver, and a drive controller. The drive controller selectively performs one of a first rotation control, including controlling the roller driver to keep rotation speed of the pair of folding rollers constant, while the folding blade is moving away from a nip region, and a second rotation control, including controlling the roller driver to stop the rotation or slow down the rotation speed of the pair of folding rollers, while a tip portion of the folding blade is being withdrawn from a folded portion of a sheaf of sheets folded, and to restore the rotation speed of the pair of folding rollers to original rotation speed, after the tip portion of the folding blade has been removed from the folded portion of the sheaf of sheets folded.

Abstract: Methods and systems for selecting and delivering content are provided. More particularly, content can be delivered to an output device from a user device through a device adaptor, such as an over-the-top (OTT) device. The OTT device or devices available to the user device are determined by a communication server. In particular, the OTT device or devices available to the user device are limited to those OTT devices associated with an output device in the user's room, or that the user is otherwise authorized to access.

Abstract: A postprocessing device is attached to an image forming apparatus. The postprocessing device includes a processing tray, a sheet processor, and a fan. The processing tray is for stacking thereon sheets on which an image has been formed and which is transported from the image forming apparatus. The sheet processor performs predetermined postprocessing on the sheets stacked on the processing tray. The fan forms an air layer between an upper face of the sheets already stacked on the stacking surface of the processing tray and a lower face of a sheet newly placed on the processing tray, by emitting air in a transport direction of the sheet, from an upstream side in the transport direction toward the stacking surface.

The main display device (e.g., an application running on the main display device) can enable selection of the cash drawer mode for communications via the dual purpose RJ12 interface, and receive an input signal after the selection. The main display device can enable selection of the RS232 mode for communications via the dual purpose RJ12 interface based on the input signal and transmit an indication to the stand, where the dual purpose RJ12 interface is configured to operate in the RS232 mode. The stand can include a hinge structure that enables the main display device to be flipped to face an opposite direction.

The lateral direction of a cardboard sheet constituting the inner cushion is the second direction.

The distal body has an aperture for receiving a wire to connect the distal body to a distal bone. In certain embodiments, user equipment (UE) for a cellular network includes a metal case and an antenna system for transmitting and/or receiving wireless signals. The antenna system includes a tuning conductor formed in the metal case, a patch antenna element that is spaced apart from the tuning conductor, and a switch electrically connected in series between the tuning conductor and a ground voltage. The switch electrically connects the tuning conductor to the ground voltage in an on state and electrically disconnects the tuning conductor from the ground voltage in an off state.
