Abstract: Envelope tracking power amplifiers with advanced gain shaping are provided. In certain implementations, a power amplifier system includes a power amplifier that amplifies a radio frequency (RF) signal and an envelope tracker that controls a voltage level of a supply voltage of the power amplifier based on an envelope of the RF signal. The power amplifier system further includes a gain shaping circuit that generates a gain shaping current that changes with the voltage level of the supply voltage from the envelope tracker. For example, the gain shaping circuit can include an analog look-up table (LUT) mapping a particular voltage level of the supply voltage to a particular current level of gain shaping current. Additionally, the gain shaping circuit biases the power amplifier based on the gain shaping current.

Abstract: Power outlets adapted for installation within an enclosure are provided. Power outlets are provided having a safety interlock adapted to prevent the creation of a hazardous condition within the enclosure as a result of the continued operation of an electrical device within the enclosed space. The safety interlock may include current limiting circuitry and hardware, hazard sensing devices interconnected with such current limiting circuitry and hardware or other circuit breaker switches, and combinations of such safety interlocks.

Abstract: A system and method for redacting private or sensitive information in a video file before publishing the video file to the public are disclosed. The system and method do not redact an original video file but a duplicated video file, and only redacted duplicated video file will be displayed to a public user. A system and method for retrieving original data corresponding to the redacted data are also disclosed. Metadata is embedded in redacted data of the redacted duplicated video file, which when activated, will direct to a location where the original data is stored.

Abstract: A simplified synthetic process for production of spermine and spermidine are presented that can provide spermine and spermidine in free base or salt form. Advantageously, the synthetic procedure is safe, simple, and environmentally friendly, while at the same time also being cost-effective.

A digital front end (DFE) of a printing device establishes connections with the DFEs of other printing devices to manage output within the peer-to-peer network in an automated manner. When a print job is received at a DFE for a printing device, it is evaluated to determine how to best manage the output for the print job.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for secure transfer and playback of multimedia content enables the secure transfer of multimedia content from a digital video recorder (DVR) to a personal computer (PC) and further to a handheld device. A DVR determines which devices on a Local Area Network (LAN) are authorized to share and/or retrieve content from the DVR. The DVR receives a connection request from a PC on the LAN, authorizes the connection request and establishes a secure connection between the DVR and the PC. Once the secure connection is established, the DVR receives a request for multimedia content from the PC, prepares the multimedia content for transfer and transfers the multimedia content to the PC.

Abstract: Insulation panels for wall construction and roofing installation are characterized by inlaid battens in outer faces thereof by which multiple layers of insulation can be installed without thermal bridging. Second and any subsequent layers are each fastened only to the battens of the immediately underlying layer, without fully penetrating therethrough to the roof deck, building wrap or other substrate. Laminated facers of perforated character allow migration of moisture to and from a foam core of the panel, while internal channels and internal slots beneath the facer enable drainage/drying of excess moisture without material degradation of the inlaid battens. Additional drainage space within each layer is provided at inter-panel connections, where tongue and groove connections are configured to leave such drainage space open between the tongue and groove.

Abstract: Systems and methods manage information relating to paper media to enhance the quality of printing by printers. Systems and methods efficiently maintain color management profiles for different papers and ensure that the most appropriate (e.g., optimal) color management profile is employed for color conversion on a specific paper. In particular, embodiments may employ dynamic management of data stored in paper catalogs of printing systems. As such, a paper catalog of a printer device can effectively associate a paper with a color management profile that provides the best possible color reproduction on that paper.

Abstract: A dryer appliance includes a cabinet and a drum rotatably mounted within the cabinet. The drum defines a chamber for the receipt of articles for drying. A door is movably mounted to the cabinet adjacent to an opening in the drum. The door is movable relative to the cabinet between an open position and a closed position. The chamber in the drum is accessible through the opening when the door is in the open position and the chamber is enclosed when the door is in the closed position. A liner is disposed within the chamber in the drum when the door is in the closed position. The liner may be porous. The liner may include an electron acceptor material and an electron donor material.

Abstract: A handle assembly includes a lock cylinder of a selected one of a first standard or a different second standard. A tail piece extends from the lock cylinder. The handle assembly also includes a vertical tubular member, a horizontal tubular member and a transition plate. The transition plate is disposed within the vertical tubular member and is moveable between a first position and a different second position. The transition plate accommodates installation of the lock cylinder of the first standard when in the first position and installation of the lock cylinder of the second standard when in the second position. A mechanical linkage is coupled to the tail piece and effects movement of a locking bolt in response to turning of a key in the lock cylinder.

Abstract: A reagent set includes an oxidant, acid, and adsorbent, which is used in a method for reducing the leachability and release of PFAS, mercury, and other contaminants from soils, sediments, and other solid materials or waste when treated materials are exposed to acid rain, snow melt, runoff, landfill leachate, etc. The reagents are mixed with a quantity of contaminated material and water is added as needed in order to reduce the leachability of the contaminants from the treated host material, where the admixture end-product suitably removes contaminants from fluids that contact and/or otherwise permeate and/or pass through and/or around the treated admixture. The reagent set and method of use offer environmental professionals long-term, economically viable waste management solutions for removing contaminants from contamination source areas, spill and manufacturing release sites, impacted media, and landfills, as well as from the fluids that contact reagent-treated material.

In certain embodiments, a broadband feedforward power amplifier includes a power amplifier electrically connected between a radio frequency (RF) input and an RF output, and a feedforward compensation circuit including a first amplifier electrically connected in parallel with the power amplifier, a load impedance, and a second amplifier electrically connected between the radio frequency input and the load impedance. The feedforward compensation circuit generates a compensation signal based on sensing an output of the first amplifier and an output of the second amplifier, and provides the compensation signal to the radio frequency output to thereby compensate the power amplifier for non-linearity.

The center frequency is selected from a predetermined frequency and an estimated center frequency determined using an instantaneous frequency signal. The instantaneous frequency signal is based on the digital in-phase signal and the digital quadrature signal.
