Abstract: Beamforming communication systems with crossbar switches are provided herein. In certain embodiments, a beamforming communication system includes an antenna array partitioned into a plurality of sub-arrays, a plurality of front-end channels each operatively associated with one of the sub-arrays, a plurality of data conversion channels, and a crossbar switch electrically connected between the data conversion channels and the front-end channels. Including the crossbar switch allows for a flexible allocation of the data conversion channels to the front-end channels and subsequently to each individual antenna element in the array.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes: a controller that allows a display device to display a settings screen for setting of a function by a user and executes a job based on a user setting made through the settings screen; and a backup device that backs up as backup data the user setting on a storage device each time the user setting is made. When execution of the job based on the user setting is completed, the controller deletes the user setting from the storage device. When, in newly displaying a settings screen on the display device for another job, the user setting for a function configurable on the settings screen is saved on the storage device, the controller determines the content of the user setting as a content of a setting for the job and allows the display device to display the settings screen showing the content of the setting.

Abstract: Pressure sensitive macromolecular adhesive polymers and compositions capable of integrating fluoropolymeric properties with a catechol-amine functionality to form an adhesive system that allows bonding between metallic substrates and fluoropolymers are disclosed. Also disclosed are core-shell polymeric particles comprised of a core and a shell comprising a thermoplastic polydopamine polymer that may be prepared as a colloidal suspension and used as a hot-melt pressure sensitive adhesive capable of binding low surface energy materials, such as polyolefins and fluoropolymers, to diverse materials including metals.

The power amplifier module can include a current comparator configured to compare a first base current of the first transistor and a second base current of the second transistor to obtain a comparison value. The power amplifier module can include a saturation controller configured to supply a reference signal to an impedance matching network based on the comparison value. When a fault condition is detected, a fault handler may attempt to fix the faulty data, remove the faulty data from the input data file being processed, or provide the faulty data at a user interface so a human user can intervene. The method and storage devices may continue processing the data regardless of whether human input has been received because the system can bypass or remove the data, thereby keeping the method fault tolerant.
