Abstract: An enterprise inventory management system, and methods of use thereof, utilizing novel functionalities. The system includes a centralized global inventory database subsystem for cataloging a plurality of inventory items from a plurality of remote physical locations, each of the items identified by at least a unique identification code; and, a plurality of localized radio frequency identification (RFID) interrogator subsystems associated with a corresponding plurality of remote physical locations, wherein each of the localized RF interrogator subsystems is operative to read RFID tags associated with ones of the plurality of inventory items located at its associated physical location, wherein each of the RFID tags is programmed with at least a unique identification code for its associated item.

Abstract: A remote imaging device monitoring system for evaluating operational status of imaging devices installed on crash event response vehicles in a crash event detection and response system, whereby a imaged video and audio message communicates to a monitoring controller for evaluation of the operation of the imaging device and the quality of the imaging, for corrective action. A method of self-monitoring, in a crash event detection and response system having a plurality of crash event response vehicles each equipped with one or more imaging devices and a communications device, images and audio imaged by a respective imaging device for operation and quality is disclosed.

Abstract: An integrated light bar for emergency vehicles and having a vehicle detection and warning sensor intermediate, preferably medial, opposing ends of the light bar, for alerting a responder at a crash site to take evasive action to a detected on-coming motor vehicle move-over failure, which light bar configured with supports for mounting to the emergency vehicle and having a processor that couples to the sensor, and an alerting device that couples to the processor. The sensor may be an imaging device, radar unit, or similar. The alerting device includes warning lights, a tactile device, and an audio unit for warning signals. The system detects an approaching vehicle, and with a longitudinal axis of a rescue vehicle determines a position angle line and spacing between the system and the approaching vehicle.

The apparatus may include a cylindrical elongated member having an elongated member body, an elongated member proximal end and an elongated member distal end. The elongated member may be shaped as a nail or a screw. The apparatus may further include one or more protruding arms that may be perpendicularly attached to the elongated member body. Abstract: A can mixing device is disclosed. The device may include a base plate having a base plate proximal surface and a base plate distal surface. The device may further include a first rod having a first rod proximal end and a first rod distal end. The first rod distal end may be attached to a center portion of the base plate proximal surface. The device may further include a top plate having a first hole in a top plate center portion. The top plate may be configured to slide along a first rod length through the first hole. Further, the top plate may be attached to the first rod proximal end via a fastening member. Furthermore, the device may include a connection member attached to the base plate distal surface. The connection member may be configured to removably couple with a power tool configured to generate a device reciprocating movement.

Abstract: A method and apparatus related to a fogging nozzle assembly including a housing, a metered core, and an air vortex core. The housing includes an air inlet opening at a first end to receive air from a blower distinct from the apparatus, and a fogging outlet opening to output a fog at a second end. The housing couples to a liquid container that stores a fogging liquid and to the blower. The metered core, disposed within the housing, includes a first plurality of radial angled fins to create a low-pressure zone within the housing which draws the fogging liquid from the liquid container into the housing. The air vortex core, disposed between the metered core and the fogging outlet opening, includes a second plurality of radial angled fins to mix the fogging liquid with the air and guide the fog exiting the housing at the fogging outlet opening.

Abstract: A modular arrangement is provided for housing electronic equipment and associated cooling structure in a data center environment. The modular units provide cooling air on an as-needed basis to individual pieces of equipment by way of individual plenums and associated valves. The units can be interconnected by vertical stacking, in side-to-side arrangements, and back-to-back arrangements. A number of units can be interconnected to form a cell. The cells can be interconnected to form larger units. In this manner, data centers can be configured in any desired arrangement without requiring complicated cooling design.

Abstract: A medical services kiosk having an integrated weight scale assembly supporting private and secure telemedicine sessions between a patient and a remote network terminal utilized by a remote health care professional. The medical services kiosk comprising at least one privacy chamber having at least one door and a weight scale assembly. Each privacy chamber may include a user interactive display terminal that includes a display device, an input device, and a centralized processor, wherein the centralized processor is electronically communicable with the weight scale assembly. The weight scale assembly may comprise a housing, platform, processor, pressure blocks, and communication cables. In one exemplary form, the weight scale assembly may be able to calculate the patient's body mass index (BMI), body fat percentage, muscle mass, body water percentage, bone mass and the like.

Abstract: A decoder is configured to receive a bit stream including a current frame and a picture header associated with the entire current frame, determine, as a function of the picture header, that one global motion mode is enabled for the entire current frame, the enabled global motion mode being selected from a group including translational motion, 4-parameter affine motion, and 6-parameter affine motion, detect, based on the enabled global motion mode, a plurality of parameters applicable to the entire frame, and decode the current frame using the detected parameters.

More particularly, according to one aspect of the invention, an electronic system is configured to facilitate the performance of law enforcement duties by quasi-instantaneously providing actionable intelligence to its users, such as front-line law enforcement officers, in response to a real-time query. According to another aspect of the invention, a system implements a set of automated status classifications for subjects with suspected or confirmed involvement in criminal activities. The status classifications specifically and concisely establish the subject's involvement in criminal activities. According to yet another aspect of the invention, a system executes a streamlined electronic process for handling and processing seized items so as to ensure that criminal assets are efficiently and effectively seized, and that asset forfeiture actions are effectively initiated against the seized items.

Abstract: A disinfection chamber for disinfecting probe and probe cord may include a housing, a probe chamber portion defined by the housing, a cord chamber portion defined by the housing, one or more disinfecting portions in operable communication with the probe chamber portion and the cord chamber portion, and a disinfectant composition in operable communication with the one or more disinfecting portions. The one or more disinfecting portions may expel the disinfectant composition within the probe chamber portion and the cord chamber portion to disinfect the probe and at least a portion of the probe cord.

Abstract: A system and method for generating renewable natural gas from raw biogas streams, such as biogas from landfills or biogas from controlled anaerobic digestion of biomass, provides for the efficient removal of acid gases and other impurities, including oxygen and nitrogen from biogas. The biogas is treated in a multi-stage membrane gas separation system integrated with a pressure swing adsorption system to generate pipeline-specification renewable natural gas. The combined system provides for efficient acid gas removal while simultaneously limiting oxygen carryover into the product stream.

Abstract: Systems and methods for exchanging fracturing components of a hydraulic fracturing unit and may include an exchangeable fracturing component section to facilitate quickly exchanging a fracturing component of a hydraulic fracturing unit. The fracturing component section may include a section frame including a base, and a fracturing component connected to the base. The fracturing component section also may include a component electrical assembly and a component fluid assembly connected to the section frame. The fracturing component section further may include a coupling plate connected to the section frame. Abstract: Crankshaft and connecting rod assemblies for hydraulic fracturing pumps and related methods may enhance the flow of fracturing fluid into a wellhead during a high-pressure fracturing operation. The assemblies and methods may include a crankshaft having a crankpin between first and second journals. The crankpin may include first and second longitudinally spaced ridges at least partially extending circumferentially around the crankpin. The assemblies and methods further may include first and second connecting rods connected to the crankpin. The first connecting rod may include first and second crankpin connectors connected to the crankpin and at least partially defining therebetween a connecting rod clearance between and positioned to at least partially receive therein an end of a second connecting rod. Abstract: This invention provides a system and method/process for treatment of fuel used in internal combustion engines that advantageously reduces greenhouse gasses and pollutants given off during combustion and provides all the above effects without the need to include additional traditional additives that increase costs and may be environmentally harmful. Nanoparticles of one or more metals are added to a fuel mixture, where the mixture consists of hydrophobic or hydrophilic biofuels of plant or animal origin and/or sulfur containing petroleum distillates. An electro-chemical process/method can then be employed, by passing a current through the mixture, to produce metal nanoparticles. These metal nanoparticles have a wide range of benefits when added to the fuel solution, and allow the user to avoid the use of such traditional fuel additives.
