Abstract: The disclosure relates to a promoter induced by fungal rust. More specifically, the promoter is induced by the pathogen Phakopsora pachyrhizi, i.e. the Asian Soybean Rust. The disclosure further provides for recombinant genes comprising the promoter and methods of producing a transgenic plant that involves introducing or providing the recombinant gene to plant cells to create transgenic plant cells, and regenerating transgenic plants from the transgenic cells.

When the piece of management department data of the target manager data is restriction data corresponding to a particular department, a processor executes a second data editing process to edit particular user data that is a part of the plurality of pieces of individual user data. The particular user data is one of the plurality of pieces of individual user data that includes a piece of belonging department data that indicates a department that has a predetermined correspondence relation with the particular department that corresponds to the piece of management department data of the target manager data.

Abstract: A support assembly for a data display monitor. The support assembly utilizes a base frame that can be placed on a flat working surface. A hub is connected to the base frame and is free to rotate about a vertical axis. At least one support arm is provided. Each support arm is connected to the hub with a first hinge connection. Each support arm also connects to a mounting plate with a second hinge connection. The second hinge connection enables the mounting plate to rotate at least ninety degrees through a range of motion. The mounting plate is attached to the data display monitor. As the mounting plate moves through its range of motion, the data display monitor moves with the mounting plate. The data display monitor can therefore be moved through the range of motion between a vertical orientation and a horizontal orientation.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to multi-stage falling particle receivers and methods of falling particle heating. As the particles fall through the receiver, the particles are periodically collected and released by flow retarding devices. The periodic catch-and-release of the particles falling through the receiver reduces particle flow dispersion, increases particle opacity and solar absorption, and reduces erosion and damage to surfaces caused by direct particle impingement.

Abstract: A battery cell having an electrode tab with enhanced safety and improved cooling performance, and a battery module, a battery pack and a vehicle including the same is provided. The battery cell includes an electrode assembly including a cell body and an electrode tab provided to at least one side of the cell body, a cell case configured to accommodate the electrode assembly, an electrode lead drawn out of the cell case and connected to the electrode assembly through the electrode tab at a coupling portion, and a tab protection module accommodated in the cell case and covering at least a part of the electrode tab, the tab protection module including a heat dissipating material configured to discharge heat to the outside through at least a part thereof.

Abstract: A pouch film for a secondary battery and a method for manufacturing the same. In some embodiments, the pouch film includes a stretchable auxiliary layer that is a multi-layered structure comprising a plurality of layers, wherein layers in the plurality of layers have different elongation rates. The stress at the interface of each layer is relieved and the moldability of a pouch is improved. The risk of breakage of a pouch is significantly reduced and defect rates are reduced in a pouch manufacturing process, thereby reducing manufacturing costs.

As the terminal retainer is moved to a second position, the terminal retention projection cooperates with the securing face of the terminal to prevent movement of the terminal and the retainer positioning projections of the terminal retainer cooperate with the positioning projections of the housing to prevent the movement of the terminal retainer in a direction which is in line with a longitudinal axis of the housing.

Abstract: This application relates generally to intelligent and explainable link prediction in knowledge graph systems that automatically incorporate user feedback. In one aspect, this application discloses an iterative process for predicting a link set as a group of links in a knowledge graph in an embedding space by expanding the knowledge graph with predicted and validated single links in each iteration such that a final set of links are predicted with each one being added to the set depending on previously added predicted links. In another aspect, this application also discloses automatically extracting rules from user feedback of link predictions and generating a user feedback knowledge graph from the extracted rules, which in combination with an original knowledge graph are used for the generation of the link predictions.

Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing a unit cell cuts lower and upper separators between sets of adjacent electrodes. In a state of a process of manufacturing the unit cell, the lower and upper separators continuously move in a longitudinal direction; and the electrodes are stacked between the separators and on the upper separator, respectively. The apparatus includes a lower block disposed under the lower separator and an upper block vertically aligned with the lower block above the upper separator. A lower end of a cutter is installed for access to the inside and outside. The upper block descends to press the separators to a surface of the lower block. One or both of the upper and lower blocks is heated to a predetermined temperature to thermally fuse pressed points of the separators. The cutter protrudes from the upper block to perform cutting at points at which the separators are pressed.

An embodiment of the method comprises determining, at an optical line terminal, a channel characteristic of a channel from an optical network unit to the optical line terminal; determining, based on the channel characteristic, a preamble property for a transmission from the optical network unit to the optical line terminal, the preamble property at least partially compensating for transmission distortion caused by the channel characteristic; transmitting preamble information to the optical network unit, the preamble information being for generating a preamble having the preamble property; and receiving the preamble having the preamble property from the optical network unit. In this way, a training speed of an equalizer of the optical line terminal can be improved, and preamble overhead can be reduced.

The container body, the cap and the cover can be reused maximum by the number of times corresponding to the number of the bosses.

At least part of the air discharged from the ventilation member is introduced into the air supply member again.
