Abstract: Provided herein are systems and methods for configuring a segmented cloud based network based on separate Internet Protocol (IP) segments, comprising receiving instructions to create one or more additional private virtual networks as respective additional segments in a multi-tenant multi-regional cloud based network segmented to a plurality of segments each mapped by a respective IP address range, calculating one or more non-conflicting new IP address range based on analysis of the IP address range of each of the segments, allocating a respective new IP address range to each additional segment, and deploying automatically one or more gateways. The gateways are configured to connect one or more client devices to the additional segment(s) by assigning each client device an IP address in the respective new IP address range and routing network packets between the client devices and the respective additional segment according to mapping of the respective new IP address range.

Abstract: This technology relates to a transmission apparatus, a reception apparatus, and a data processing method for easily implementing circuits on the receiving side. There is provided a transmission apparatus including a processing section configured to process a stream with respect to each of multiple PLPs included in a broadcast signal, the stream being constituted by packets, the processing section further causing a header of each of the packets to include mapping information mapped to identification information identifying the PLP to which each of the packets belongs. Abstract: A reciprocating compressor includes a piston slidably mounted within a compression chamber and defining a suction port. The method also includes, generating a first alert signal, selectively adjusting at least one steering characteristic of a steering system of the vehicle from a first value to a second value, and, in response to at least one of a reduction in the vehicle speed and a distance between the vehicle and the portion of the surface having the coefficient of friction being less than a distance threshold, selectively adjusting the at least one steering characteristic from the second value to the first value.

Abstract: Provided is a technique for suppressing the formation of black regions in a wound electrode body. The production method disclosed herein is a method for producing a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery that includes a wound electrode body, a non-aqueous electrolyte, and a battery case. Abstract: A system and method for evaluating soil characteristics. The system and method includes providing one or more soil test kits to a user. The soil tests kits may include ion-exchange resins and may instruct the user to collect a soil sample from his/her growing area, to combine the soil sample with the ion-exchange resins, and to provide the combination to the system for analysis. Other test kits may not include ion-exchange resins and may instruct the user to provide a soil sample from his/her growing area to the system for analysis. The system evaluates the ion-exchange resins and/or the soil samples to identify nutrient levels, pH levels, and other characteristics of the soil. Using the evaluation results, the system provides feedback, recommendations and/or products to the user to improve the soil conditions and to ensure a successful crop, yield, quality, and nutrient density.

Abstract: There is provided co-channel interference mitigation by power adjustments that take into account sensitivity improvement provided by the sky communications. In connection with a communications network configured for ground communications and sky communications one radio device performs transmission power control of another radio device. If at the controlling radio device, a radio link is determined to be sky communications, at least one power adjustment for controlling the transmission power of the other radio device is determined in accordance with one or more power control parameters for sky communications. The transmission power of the second radio device is controlled by the first radio device, on the basis of the determined at least one power adjustment. In this way co-channel interference mitigation is supported by power adjustments that take into account sensitivity improvement provided by the sky communications.
Abstract: The present invention pertains novel coiled tubing units and methods of stabbing. The coiled tubing unit has a tubing reel; a tubing guide operably connected to the tubing reel; and an injector operably connected to the tubing guide. The injector is configured to move toward or away from the tubing reel. This advantageously allows for more convenient, effective, and/or potentially safer stabbing methods to be employed.
