Abstract: For dead time determination for a gamma camera or other detector, a long-lived point source of emissions is positioned so that the gamma camera detects the emissions from the source while also being used to detect emissions from the patient. The long-lived point source, in the scan time, acts as a fixed frequency source of emissions, allowing for dead time correction measurements that include the crystal detector effects.
Abstract: A shared bus time interleaves 1 PPS signal and control and coordination information between a primary timing source and line cards that need to be synchronized using the 1 PPS signals. The shared bus utilizes 1 second frames divided into time slots. The 1 PPS signals are interleaved at predetermined locations in the frame so the delays introduced by interleaving the 1 PPS data in time can be precisely removed. While the bus is not being used for 1 PPS signals, the bus is available to send control and coordination information between the line cards and the primary timing source, avoiding the use of another system and increasing utilization of an available communication path.
Abstract: Systems and methods for data storage and data streaming in decentralized, self-organized networks are provided. A plurality of computing devices are disposed in a unidirectional communication ring having a plurality of serially-connected spikes. Each spike includes n computing devices, and n×p connections directly connecting each of the n computing devices to p downstream computing devices. Each computing device is configured to request and receive an inventory of the plurality of computing devices; select a computing device from the plurality of computing devices; transmit a join request comprising the inventory to the selected computing device; and request reorganizing the unidirectional communication ring in response to the receipt of the transmitted join request after propagation through each of the plurality of spikes of the unidirectional communication ring.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for identifying a subset of interest from a general population and for monitoring a database of daily activity logs associated with the general population in order to identify database entries indicative of an occurrence of a pre-defined trigger event that is associated with a member of the subset of interest. In particular, systems and methods are described that allow a massive database of daily activity logs to be monitored to identify trigger events that have occurred within the past twenty-four hours or other very recent time period. Embodiments are described that may be advantageously used by a provider of credit-related products and/or services who wishes to accurately target prospective customers, identified by the system, based on occurrence of a trigger event, as being in a decision-making phase of credit shopping, for purposes of making a timely and targeted offering relevant to the customers' current activities.

Abstract: Multiple mobile device identifiers (IDs) of mobile devices and corresponding geolocations of the multiple of mobile device IDs are received from multiple mobile hubs during a time period. A selection of an incident that occurred at a particular geolocation at a particular date and time is then received. One or more mobile hubs of the multiple mobile hubs that were present within a selected geographical zone that includes the particular geolocation during a selected time frame that includes the particular date and time are identified based on at least one corresponding mobile device ID of the one or more mobile hubs. Sensor data obtained by at least one user device communicatively connected to the one or more mobile hubs of the multiple hubs are then associated with the incident.

Abstract: Provided is an information processing apparatus that divides a plurality of scanned page data with high accuracy based on the history. The OCR unit performs optical character recognition for character and layout in a page for each of the plurality of page data. The division history unit stores the division history of a plurality of page data on a page-by-page basis based on the classification of characters and layouts that are performed optical character recognition by the OCR unit. The rule order unit classifies each of a plurality of newly scanned page data, and it divides the data in page units by referring to the division history stored in the division history unit.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an image carrying member, an intermediate transfer belt, a primary transfer roller, a first belt support roller, a secondary transfer roller, a second belt support roller, a current output portion, a current sensing portion, and a control portion. The current output portion passes across the secondary transfer roller a secondary transfer current as part of an output current. The current output portion and the second belt support roller are electrically connected together. The current sensing portion senses a leakage current passing from the first belt support roller via the intermediate transfer belt to the second belt support roller. The control portion sets the output current such that the secondary transfer current has a value given by subtracting a leakage current from the output current and keeps the voltage on the second belt support roller between ?50 V and 50 V, inclusive.
