Abstract: The invention relates to the methods for sewage treatment contaminated by mechanical impurities, fats, proteins and other organic and inorganic compounds, and can be used for purification and water disinfection contaminated by heavy and radioactive metals, saturated or unsaturated fats, filtrate from landfills, meat processing plants, and/or oil and petroleum.

Abstract: A pre-fabricated wall system can include a first thin wall module and a second thin wall module. The two thin wall modules have a depth defined by a distance from a front surface of each thin wall module to aback surface of each thin wall module. The pre-fabricated wall system can further include a vertical connection post that has a first connection interface on a first side configured to secure to the first thin wall module. The first connection interface can include a first channel. The vertical connection post can also include a second connection interface on a second side opposite the first side configured to secure to the second thin wall module. The second connection interface can include a second channel. The two thin wall modules can be parallel or co-planar to one another when the two thin wall modules are secured to the vertical connection post.

Abstract: A system and method are presented that utilize facet modifications to alter user input values to perform a facet search on a found set of data records. The facet modifications are associated with item records, such as by using type attributes. Facet modifications can be associated with query information that is utilized to create a query on a user interface. Input received from the query is then modified according to the facet modifier in order to create facet search parameters. The facet search parameters are used to perform a facet search to narrow the found set of item records. In some embodiments, facet modifications are stored in facet modifier records. Multiple facet modifications can be stored in a single facet modifier record. A single query input can be manipulated by multiple facet modifications to create separate facet search parameters.

Abstract: System, methods, and machine-readable media to facilitate monitoring and control of a railway maintenance assembly are disclosed. A railway workhead component monitor may be adapted to be disposed at a railway maintenance assembly. The railway workhead component monitor may be configured to perform one or a combination of the following. One or more conditions of at least a portion of the railway maintenance assembly may be monitored. Based at least in part on the monitoring, a plurality of monitoring data corresponding to operations of the railway maintenance assembly may be stored. Reporting data may be generated based at least in part on the stored plurality of monitoring data. A wireless communication may be transmitted toward a railway device controller that is remote from the railway maintenance assembly, the wireless communication including the reporting data.

Abstract: Methods and systems for identifying and accurately monitoring evaporation from casks storing high value liquor are presented herein. A Cask Identification and Evaporation Monitoring (CIEM) system includes instrumentation to identify cask location within a high volume storage facility and monitor loss of content from each cask. The resulting data is communicated to a CIEM tracking server for storage and further analysis. The CIEM tracking server identifies excessive short term losses, e.g., leaks, arising anywhere in the storage facility. In addition, the CIEM tracking server identifies long term loss trends. The long term loss trends are enable data-driven management of the cask conditioning process, including tasks such as scheduling of cask rotation within the storage facility, bottling, etc.

Abstract: An optical resonant modulator based on coupling modulation, comprising a resonant structure with an embedded Mach-Zehnder interferometer that is differentially driven to induced amplitude modulation at the output port. The principle of coupling modulation enables high data/baud rates to be achieved in a photonic integrated circuit, e.g. silicon, footprint that is considerably smaller than that of a conventional traveling-wave Mach-Zehnder modulator, in particular by utilizing space saving features, such as ring resonator phase shifters and bend waveguide arms.

Abstract: Aqueous treatment compositions for crude oil and/or petroleum distillates to remove sulfur compounds therefrom and treatment methods using such compositions are disclosed. The composition has less than 0.5% wt/wt di- or tri-benzohydroxy compound, a strong base, less than 1% wt/wt divalent metal gluconate, a balance of water, and a pH that is 9 or greater. The treatment method includes adding said treatment composition to crude oil or a petroleum distillate to form a mixture having 0.001% to 0.02% wt di- or tri-benzohydroxy compound/wt oil and 0.001% to 0.03% wt divalent metal gluconate/wt oil and mixing the same together.

Abstract: A low-pressure natural gas harvesting system that injects motive fluid into a first well by a compressor, which flows into a motive manifold that utilizes the Coand? effect to introduce a reduced pressure effect. The reduced pressure effect draws natural gas into the system from natural gas reservoirs through one or more inflow ports that are part of inflow manifolds, which may connect to a motive manifold. The natural gas and motive fluid mix after the motive fluid flows over a Coand? effect surface and the mixture is subsequently directed to flow to a production well.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a non-opaque, abstract, unified query language that exposes the query as a first-class citizen of the underlying architecture. The present disclosure thus facilitates the creation of no-code or low-code applications by enabling a level of collaboration between components that may be difficult to achieve if the language employed were opaque to the architecture. The disclosed query language may be considered “SQL-like,” which may allow contributors familiar with structured query language (SQL) to effectively participate in the design of an application. The defined structures of a data objects of the non-opaque query language described herein are not-hidden and inspectable.

Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for providing electrical power from a utility electric grid to a fracturing operation, and an electrically powered fracturing system. A mobile substation includes at least two transformer units that are operatively coupled to the utility electric grid in a parallel orientation, wherein the transformer units are capable of receiving power from the utility electric grid and stepping down the power for delivery to a switchgear. An electric motor is operatively coupled to a hydraulic fracturing pump and operatively controlled by a variable frequency drive. At least one open air relay cable is operatively coupled between the switchgear and the electric motor and capable of delivering power to the electric motor.

In one example, an imaging device includes a pixel array with light-receiving pixels that are separated pixel lines, and that accumulating electric charge in an accumulation period. An exposure controller sets time lengths of the accumulation such that the time lengths repeat in predetermined order. The accumulation period includes a first accumulation period and a second accumulation period each having a first time length, and a third accumulation period and a fourth accumulation period each having a second time length. A processor generates image data by adding pixel values based on the accumulation result in a first pixel line in the first accumulation period, the accumulation result in a second pixel line in the second accumulation period, the accumulation result in the first pixel line in the third accumulation period, and the accumulation result in the second pixel line in the fourth accumulation period.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a battery management apparatus and method, and more particularly, to a battery management apparatus and method using non-destructive resistance analysis for analyzing the change of resistance of a battery cell. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, even if the EIS (Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy) analysis is not used, the resistance change rate of the battery cell may be calculated non-destructively using the QV curve and the Q-dV/dQ curve of the battery cell.

Abstract: Voltage regulation schemes for powering multiple circuit blocks are disclosed. In certain embodiments, a front end system includes a reference voltage circuit that receives power from a power supply voltage and generates a reference voltage, a group of circuit blocks each selectively enabled by a corresponding one of a group of enable signals, and a programmable voltage regulator that generates a programmable regulated voltage based on the reference voltage and provides the programmable regulated voltage to the circuit blocks. The programmable regulated voltage has a voltage level that changes based on a selection of the circuit blocks that are enabled by the enable signals.

Abstract: Provided is a semiconductor chip test socket configured to be coupled to a test circuit board for testing a semiconductor chip and provided with an integrated circuit (IC) chip having unique information and an algorithm for counting the number of times the semiconductor chip test socket is used, such that the number of times the semiconductor chip test socket is used may be exactly counted, and the IC chip may be easily installed and removed and securely protected from external impacts.
