The tunable impedance circuit is configured to adjust at least two notches in a frequency response of the tunable filter by changing a state of a switch. The tunable filter can filter a radio frequency signal. Related methods, radio frequency systems, radio frequency modules, and wireless communication devices are also disclosed.

Abstract: A vertical tunneling field-effect transistor and a method for its manufacture are provided. According to methods herein disclosed, oppositely doped source and drain regions are formed, and an APAM delta layer is formed in the surface of the transistor substrate, beneath a metal gate, in electrical contact with, e.g., the source region. A dielectric layer intervenes between the substrate surface and the metal gate. An epitaxial cap layer directly over the APAM layer forms a dielectric layer interface with a dielectric layer, which is located between the epitaxial cap layer and the metal gate. A vertical channel is defined for tunneling between the APAM delta layer and an induced conduction channel adjacent to the dielectric layer interface that is formed in operation, and that is in electrical contact with, e.g., the drain region.

Abstract: A buoyant apparatus that is capable of floating on liquid surfaces, such as bodies of water filled with waste byproducts. The buoyant apparatus supports a plurality of atomizers via rotatable and flexible arms that can achieve 180° adjustments with the respect to a longitudinal axis of the buoyant apparatus, such that the arms can be parallel to a surface of the body of water in both an extended orientation (with the atomizers deployed over the water surface) and a retracted orientation (with the atomizers stored within the surface area of the platform). In addition, the arms can achieve 360° rotational adjustments about the attachment point of the arms to the platform. The atomizers and arms are powered by low voltage direct current (DC) motors that can utilize solar power via photovoltaic cells such that the apparatus can be employed in remote locations without the need for a centralized power grid.
Abstract: The present invention provides a liquid crystal display with improved structure. A liquid crystal display includes a cover plate, a polarizing layer, and a liquid crystal display unit layer. The cover plate is placed on the polarizing layer, and the polarizing layer is placed on the liquid crystal display unit layer. Between the cover plate and the polarizing layer or between the polarizing layer and the liquid crystal display unit layer, an optical adhesive layer may further be included. The present invention further includes a filling layer, enabling the area between the cover plate and the polarizing layer, between the polarizing layer and the liquid crystal display unit layer, or between the polarizing layer and the optical adhesive layer to be completely filled. The present invention solves the problem of uneven appearance or structural defects in the liquid crystal display caused by difficulties in controlling the adhesive dispensing quantity.
