Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for improving measurement reporting involving WLAN for a UE in a wireless communication system. The method includes triggering a transmission of a measurement report involving WLAN due to all of at least one condition being fulfilled, wherein the at least one condition includes a first condition related to WLAN load.
Abstract: An apparatus includes a transmission member having a proximal end portion and a distal end portion. The transmission member is configured to be inserted into a bodily lumen, and is configured to transfer ultrasonic energy from the proximal end portion to the distal end portion. The transmission member defines a lumen along a longitudinal center line of the transmission member. The distal end portion of the transmission member includes a concave engagement surface and a distal end surface. The distal end surface defines a plane that intersects the longitudinal center line of the transmission member at an angle of between about 75 degrees and about 105 degrees. The engagement surface is configured to engage a target tissue within the bodily lumen to limit movement of the target tissue along the longitudinal center line. The engagement surface defines an opening in fluid communication with the lumen.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for handling inter-node connectivity in a wireless communication system are disclosed. The method includes transmitting a request from a first network node to a second network node to stop aggregating a SCell (Secondary Cell) for a UE (User Equipment); wherein the first network node controls the SCell and the second network node controls PCell (Primary Cell) of the UE. Also, another method and apparatus for handling inter-node connectivity in a wireless communication system are disclosed.
Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed to provide small cell enhancement in a wireless communication system. The method includes connecting to more than one serving cell. The method further includes triggering a Buffer Status Report (BSR) or a Power Headroom Report (PHR). The method further includes transmitting a Medium Access Control (MAC) control element corresponding to the BSR or the PHR in a serving cell, wherein the serving cell depends on a trigger of the BSR or the PHR.
Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for applying signaling of WLAN-3GPP interworking. The method includes receiving a first configuration of an interworking parameter by dedicated signalling, wherein the first configuration is not released when the UE enters idle mode. The method also includes receiving a second configuration of the interworking parameter by broadcast signalling when the UE is in idle mode, and overriding the first configuration with the second configuration.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for allocating resources for D2D communication are disclosed. The method includes a WCN allocating dedicated resource for a first D2D data session and common resource for a second D2D data session in a user equipment (UE), wherein the first D2D data session and the second D2D data session are active simultaneously in the UE. The method could also include the WCN receiving a corresponding request message from the UE for establishing each D2D data session. The method could further include the WCN transmitting a response message to the UE in response to reception of the corresponding request message, wherein the response message includes resource information that indicates which type of resource is allocated for each D2D data session.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a monolithically-constructed transmission member that defines a lumen along a longitudinal axis. The transmission member includes a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion. The first portion is configured to be coupled to an ultrasonic energy source. The method includes the UE receiving an indication to prohibit a transmission of a RRC connection request message for requesting a D2D dedicated resource for transmission. Abstract: The present invention relates to flow measurement, and more particularly, to a system for measuring a flow rate by three-dimensionally crossing a plurality of sidings each other within a conduit. An ultrasonic flow measurement system according to the present invention determines a flow central part of fluid by three-dimensionally crossing the plurality of sidings each other within the conduit in three dimensions and calculates a flow rate flowing in the conduit, meeting the flow central part, thereby more accurately measuring the flow rate than the existing method.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed to allocating and handling peer discovery resources. One method includes a wireless network allocating multiple sets of peer discovery resources, wherein different sets of peer discovery resources are used by user equipments (UEs) to transmit/receive peer discovery signals for different uses. Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for DL-UL (Downlink-Uplink) interference management and traffic adaptation. The method includes a UE (User Equipment) being connected with an eNB (evolved Node B), and is configured with a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) operation and an eIMTA operation. The method also includes the UE monitors Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) in a subframe for a potential scheduling from the eNB when a DRX timer associated with the DRX operation is running, and the UE increments the running DRX timer by one. The method further includes the UE monitors PDCCH in the subframe when the DRX timer is running, and does not increment the DRX timer by one when the subframe is a DL subframe as indicated by an explicit signaling associated with the eIMTA operation.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for implementing small cell enhancements in a wireless communication system are disclosed. The method includes a first eNB (evolved Node B) controlling a first cell, wherein the first cell is serving a UE (User Equipment). The method also includes the first eNB allocating a measurement gap configuration to the UE. Abstract: Provided is an ultrasonic sensor which includes a piezoelectric vibrator made of a lithium niobate (LN) single crystal and may be used in a high temperature region by generating a high ultrasonic wave output, and prevents cracks from being generated in the crystal. A piezoelectric vibrator 1 of the present invention has a surface (Y-axis 36° cut surface) obtained by rotating a surface orthogonal to a Y-axis of the LN crystal about an X-axis by 36°±2° as an output surface. The ultrasonic sensor further includes a retarder 3 made of titanium and a bonding layer 2 for bonding one surface of the retarder 3 to the output surface. The bonding layer 2 is made of silver and frit glass, and the frit glass has a coefficient of linear expansion ranging from 5×10?6 K?1 to 15×10?6 K?1.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for handling buffer status reporting in a wireless communication system includes providing a first buffer size level table having a first maximum buffer size value, and providing a second buffer size level table having a second maximum buffer size value greater than the first maximum buffer size value. The method includes using the second buffer size level table when carrier aggregation (CA) is configured with more than one UL carrier component (CC) or when more than one UL CC is activated. To indicate whether to use the second buffer size level table or the first buffer size level table, an indication can be used in one of a Radio Resource Control (RRC) message, a Medium Access Control (MAC) Control Element or a corresponding subheader of the MAC Control Element.
