    Abstract: A group of miniature switches particularly adapted for soldering and/or installation upon the surfaces of printed circuit boards in a manner similar to that employed in installing integrated circuit chips. The switches are commonly known in the art as DIP switches, and are of a variety of types of manual actuation. As a group, the switches are characterized by a minimization of parts, ease of fabrication and assembly, and improved reliability.
