  • Patent number: 5768238
Abstract: A sub-chassis is readily mounted on a main chassis by pivot shafts (3a) which can be axially inserted into pivot support bores formed in the main chassis (1). A cam member (2) is provided with a cam groove (2b) for inducing vertical pivotal movement of the sub-chassis (3). The sub-chassis (3) has an engaging portion (3b) which is engaged in a cam which has a cam groove (2b). The cam is provided with a notch (2c) via which the engaging portion (3b) of the sub-tray (3) can enter the cam groove. A limiting projection 1f is provided which prevents the shafts (3a) of the sub-tray (3) from disengaging from the main chassis (1) while the sub-chassis is pivoting within an operative range.

  • Patent number: 5347228
Abstract: A BPSK demodulator having a compound phase locked loop, such as a Costas loop, is disclosed. An in-phase component, signal SI from a Costas loop demodulating section 10 is converted by a symmetrical binary-valued signal forming converting circuit 21 into binary-valued signals, while a quadrature signal component SQ from the demodulating section 10 is also converted by a non-symmetrical binary-valued signal forming converting circuit 22 into binary-valued signals. The outputs of the circuits 21, 22 are supplied to a flip-flop 23 as its data input and its clock input, respectively. An output of flip-flop 23 is integrated by an integrating circuit 25. A CPU 28 decides whether or not an integrated value from integrating circuit 25 exceeds a predetermined threshold value TH to decide whether or not the Costas loop demodulating section 10 is in the locked state. In this manner, the locked state can be detected by a simplified constitution, while a pseudo-locked state may also be detected.

  • Patent number: 4743985
Abstract: A video tape recorder for recording a plurality of skewed recording tracks on a video tape includes a recording head, an auxiliary head and an erasing head mounted on a rotary body of a tape guide drum about which the tape is helically wrapped, a rotary transformer for transmitting signals to the recording head, auxiliary head and erasing head rotating with the rotary body, an erase signal generator for generating an earsing signal to be supplied to the erasing head by way of the rotary transformer, and a short circuit arrangement coupled to a signal path connected with the auxiliary head for short circuiting the latter upon applying the erasing signal form the erase signal generator to the erasing head by way of the rotary transformer.

  • Patent number: 4743968
Abstract: A system for controlling electronic apparatus, such as a television receiver, which employs a control circuit having a control program in a read only memory to sequentially communicate over an internal system bus in a predetermined interval with a plurality of controllable, operational circuit blocks forming the electronic apparatus, in which the control circuit selects a specific circuit block for data transfer upon a request signal. In one embodiment, a request signal is transmitted prior to a vertical blanking interval in a television signal and in another embodiment, a dedicated line is provided from a selected controllable unit to the control unit, whereby the request signal can be transmitted at any time, irrespective of whether data is being transferred at such time.
